Chapter 2

A few weeks passed and the bond among Niall, Maddy (yes that's what Madeline told me to address her as) and me became stronger. The three of us had a lot in common- be it the fact that we were the only people who hated 1D in our school or the fact that we were the best mimicry artists of Stuy. Now you would be thinking that what happened to the black eyed guy. Well shortly after the 'gazing' session, Niall told me about him. His name was Aaron Smith and as per Niall, he was the cutest stupid of Stuy. I was saddened at this because trust me, the only two things I couldn't stand in this world were dishonesty and STUPIDITY. Though our gazing sessions took place every single day, we hardly interacted with each other. A part of me wanted to talk to him, to know about him but oh boy he was stupid! Like its not just that. I didn't even know him and nor was he interested to interact with me. All he did was just keep staring at me and then look away. Thus, I had to bury my feelings for Mr. Aaron deep inside my heart.

But love is a seed. Once it is buried, it keeps on growing....

With these thoughts going on in mind, I suddenly tripped and collided with someone. As stupid as it may sound, I felt like someone had given me a mini electric shock.

"Holy bullfrog!! Sorry for being so careless actually I am a bit absent minded." I said without even taking a glance of that person as my cheek turned into a shade of scarlet.

"Hehehe it's perfectly okay Adelia"

The husky voice of the person and the fact that he knew my name caused me to look up.

It was Aaron Smith.

God! This is so typical. Why on earth did I run into HIM?????

"Umm Hi Aaron...How do you know my name??" I asked him as I took a close look at him. He was tall, had a flawless white skin, dark brown hair and dimples on both his cheeks. And his eyes. His intense eyes seemed to twinkle even more as he was laughing his head off. Although I believed Niall when he said that Aaron was stupid few weeks ago, I couldn't help but notice the depth in his eyes. A hollow person cannot possess such deep eyes. I had a strange ability to assess people through their eyes and I felt that this guy was certainly not a dumbshell. Instead, he seemed to be an ocean of depth and calmness.

"If you're done staring at me then let me tell you that my good looks originate-"

"Shut up!!" I yelled abruptly which caused him to jump a bit from his position.

"Whoa! Calm down Adelia. I know you possess a sweet voice so you don't have to yell and tear my eardrums to prove it." he chuckled.

Just as I was about to retort, I heard a boy screaming "Aaron!!! Dude where the hell were you? Now come with me and continue the game."

He saw me and raising his hand for a handshake he said,"Hey Adelia. I am Andrew. Catch you later." With this, he pulled Aaron by his shoulder. I was about to walk away when Aaron turned behind and screamed "See ya soon Parker!" and started running towards the Chess Room.

Jerk. Maybe not stupid but definitely a jerk. A proud, good looking bad boy. And how on earth did these guys even come to know my name???

"Yo Adelia! What's up?"

"Can't you see the roof is up!!!!"

"Lol have you completely lost it or is it just the screw that has fallen off your mechanical brain that makes you behave like a lunatic?"

"I am sorry Maddy. I just ran into a jerk. Stupid. What does that Aaron Smith think of himself?"

"Why don't you go and ask him yourself? Do you both think that I am your 'help desk' to find out about each other???"

"Huh? What do you mean by that?"

"What? About why don't you go and ask him yourself? It is quite obvious that YOU are supposed to ask HIM about HIM and not ME about HIM."

"Shut up Maddy and clearly tell me about that 'help desk' thing."

"You don't know what's a help desk? Shame on you Adelia."

"Okay. I assume that you want me to inform Niall that you peed in your pants the night before yesterday because you mistook your mom for a ghost and if Niall comes to know about this then the whole Stuyvesant-"

"FINE!! I will tell you provided that this MUST remain a secret."

"What? The stuff you are going to tell me?"

"Adelia!!!"

"Karma is a bitch sweetheart." I winked.

"A week ago Aaron came to me and started asking me about you. Like where did you come from, what's your name and etc etc."

"And what did you do?"

"What am I supposed to do? I answered him."

"Hmm. I see."

"If you have finished your analysing session then let me take leave. I am already getting late for the Maths class and you know how brilliant I am in it."

I giggled at her sarcasm and waved her goodbye.

This Aaron is driving me crazy.

He seemed so disinterested in me then why had he asked Maddy about me?

Ugh!! You confuse me so much!!

"Who confuses you, Adelia?" someone said in a curious but cheerful tone.

There he stood.

The ever cheerful Aaron Smith.
