She had one secret.
The lonely girl who always kept everything to herself is fallen for the boy.
That one particular boy who was chirpy and popular with so many girls around him.
They both knew each other briefly.
Just kind of 'hi and hello type of friends'.
Just like her he had one secret too.
For him she was silent loner but still something in her which he wanted to know about and attracted towards her but ignored the feeling.
He had image to maintain.
And somewhere he felt that if anyone sees them together that image could get ruin.
It's like he wanted to be with her but don't wanted to be see with her in public.
On the other hand she always wanted to befriend with him but did not had enough guts to go and talk with him normally like friends except hi, hello and how are you.
She was nervous to ask about even for simple friendship so talking about her feelings with him is out of question.
She had feeling for him but as she knew he will never like her back she ignored that feeling.
Just like him.
They both ignored their feelings.
He ignored because he did not had guts to accept the truth that he wanted to be with a simple loner girl as he thought what everyone will think. She was not his type. He didn't want his friends to judge him based on his choice of girl. As said earlier he has image to maintain.
She ignored her feelings because she was scared of rejection. She was insecure about her own self. She had this inferiority complex that she would never become match for him. She couldn't match his standards. She did not want to hear the answer. Because she was almost sure that the answer will be NO.
So she refused to say anything because it will break her tiny hope which she still had within that may be somewhere or someday he will like her just as she like him.
So she kept her mouth shut just like him.
