Earth and Xandor, my planet, are actually very alike. Both planets are replicas of each other. If something happens to one planet, those inhabitants can go to the other planet without facing much of a change. That's why the planets themselves are exactly the same. You wouldn't know the difference.
However, the people are the only difference between both planets. First of all, Earth's people created countries and borders, and Xandor didn't. We are all one and the same on Xandor. Think of all of Earth's landmasses as one huge country. Secondly, Earth has rulers of every kind, Xandor is 100% monarchy, my father being "king of the entire world". Lastly, Xandor's people are much more advanced in technology. Because Earth has so many wars, humans there are preoccupied with building bigger and better machinery. Xandor doesn't have wars, us being only one country, so we spent our time advancing in science and tech. Right now, no cancer or deadly diseases exist on Xandor. And we don't use cars, buses, or airplanes to get around. We use teleportation. Everyone on Xandor has a teleporter.
How'd I get here from another planet, you ask? Easy. I transported. Took me about a minute to get from the other side of the universe to here. I had to use this airport as my final destination. The teleporter doesn't know specific areas on Earth just yet, like certain houses, so I used a big and fairly known place, LAX airport. I used a more advanced teleporter to get here though, seeing that the average Xandor transporter wouldn't be able to take me to the other side of the universe. Plus, my teleporter is specially designed for long distance traveling.
Now why would I be banished... you might ask. You see, my father, like I mentioned before, is probably the most important person on Xandor. Not to mention the richest. Over the years, he's become more and more conceited. Somedays, he'd lock himself up in his vault and stay there all day, just playing with his gold coins. I stole from my father to teach him that money isn't everything. He didn't take as a lesson though, so he banished me to Earth.
No one on earth knows about Xandor, and no one on Xandor knows about Earth. The people that are going to take care of me are the only ones that know of Xandor, and me. It's going to be their job to make sure no one finds out who I really am. If someone finds out, it could detrimental. Their sorta like my "guardians", in a way. They were genetically altered to be able to pass off as my parents. There's literally nothing that anyone could find to prove their not my real parents. It helps with school forms and everything, even their DNA, matches mine enough to be related. Mind you, I did my research. I now know as much as, if not more than, an average teen living in California. I even had to change the way I speak, just not to arouse suspicion. My name too. I went from "Maria Dmitri, daughter of King Dmitri" to "Amber Woods, typical teen".
Now all that's left is to start my new life and forget my past. I just need to keep in mind that whatever's happened is done and there's no turning back now. So I might as well just forget everything and start over.
Here goes nothing.

Teen FictionI have been banished. Cast away like yesterday's newspaper. For what? Stealing some of father's treasure? HA! Like he doesn't have enough treasure in his vault to cover up the mere fraction of what I took. No. No, I am not a crook nor a thief. Howev...
