We sat across each other not saying a single word.

There was a awkward silence as I looked down at my hands, not speaking a single word. I could feel his gaze on me but I didn't dare look up, fearing that I might get lost in those eyes which pulled me closer to him whenever I looked in them.

Hussain's p.o.v:

I looked at her, the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, Never wanting to look away.

I wanted the moment to pause, I can look at her my whole life and never get tired of it.

Ek aadat si ban gai ho tum,
Aur aadat kabhi nahi jaati.

Agar poori zindagi ke liye kho diya tou pata nahi kiya hoga mera.

I shivered a little at this thought and cleared my throat.

"So Zarish, let's start this all over again."

She looked up at me, her big beautiful eyes staring right into mine.

"Hi, I'm Hussain Asif. Naam tou suna hoga." I said, coying Srk.

She giggled, making my insides go crazy at just her giggle.

"Zarish Khan, nice to meet you." She smiled.

"Alright then, I have a borther and a sister, who mean the world to me, including my parents."

"I don't have any brother or sister and well I love my parents to death and will do anything for them." She shrugged.

We continued to tell each other about ourselves for a while.

Zarish's p.o.v:

"Wanna dance?" Hussain got up from his chair and moved towards me.

"Hussain I suck at dancing." I said a bit uneasily.

"Ch! Don't worry, I'll teach you. There's a first time for everything." He winked, making me blush.

Wait what? Why the heck am I blushing?

I kept my hand in his, which fitted perfectly together, making me smile at this I got up and we walked a little away from the table.

Music slowly started to play and he kept his hand on my waist, making my insides go crazy, I slowly kept mine on his shoulder.

Thanking Allah that I wore heels, or else it would've been really embarrassing, standing in front of him looking like a dwarf.

Stop thinking stuff like this Zarish!

I lightly chuckled at my own thoughts and he made a confused face.

Kab se main dar dar phir raha
Musaafir dil ko panaah de
Tu awaargi ko meri aaj thehra de

"What happened?" He asked, a small smile playing on his lips as we lightly swayed on the music.

I never knew I can dance!

I wondered, amused at myself and quiet proud.

"Nothing." I shurgged lightly.

He lightly twirled me around, holding me firmly as if I'll go away from him

His grip was so light, as if he's holding a very fragile thing, we were a inch distance away from each other, I looked anywhere but him. I felt his gaze burning in me but I didn't dare look up, too scared to do or say something which I'll probably regret later.

Murjhaayi si shaakh pe dil ki
Phool khilte hain kyun
Baat gulon ki zikr mehak ka
Acha lagta hai kyun

"You're so beautiful." He whispered under his breathe, I would've never been able to listen to him if we weren't this close.

Un rango se tune milaaya
Jinse kabhi main mill na paaya
Dil karta hai tera shukriya
Phir se bahaare tu laa de

I looked up in his eyes, they were dark but there was a shine in them, a deep expression in them. Trying to tell me something but I never understood just like always.

His hands slowly and carefully move to the small of my back and he pulled me more closer to him if that's possible.

I wanted to stop him but nothing came out of my mouth when I opened it.

We stood there for what felt like an hour, no one tried to break the eye contact, I felt something go crazy inside me, maybe the butterflies are like these as I read in books.

He slowly started to lean in, his right hand cupping my cheek lightly.

My eyes widened but I still wasn't able to utter a single word.

His eyes fluttered close as he pressed his forehead against mine, his breathe fanning my lips making me shiver.

"Hus-"

"Shhh... Just- Just feel it. Do you feel it? Do you feel those butterflies?" He pressed his finger against my lips to shut me up as he whispered, opening his eyes a bit to look at my wide eyes.

Waise toh mausam guzre hain
Zindagi mein kayi
Par ab naa jaane kyun mujhe wo
Lag rahe hain haseen

I didn't say anything, yes maybe I did feel it but all of this is so new to me, I don't even know if all of this is real or a dream. It feels to good to be real.

I bit my lip, not being able to say anything and looked down suddenly.

Tere aane par jaana maine
Kahin na kahin zinda hoon main
Jeene lagaa hoon main ab ye fizaayein
Chehre ko chhooti hawaayein

"I'll take that as a 'yes'" He whispered with a small smile on his lips, his breathing was fast and I could feel his heart thumping quickly under my palm which was firmly kept on his chest.

I myself could feel my heart beating faster than usual.

Inki tarah do kadam toh badha le

He moved his hand to my lower lip, lightly caressing it, his eyes fixed on them when I looked up.

"Don't do this." He whispered, "I'll never be able to stop myself from the consequences of this." My eyes widened when I realized what he meant and my cheeks that were already heated up, went red a bit more.

He sighed a little and removed his hands from me.

He slowly backed away, the smile still of his lips.

"We should go, it's getting late." The small smile still there on his lips, as if he has achieved something for which he's too happy for, I stood there idle, trying to take in what just happened.
