Hillary.
One week later

The first week of school has been great.
Olivia and I are becoming closer, she is my only friend here at California High, but that's okay, I don't really like having a lot of friends... Or just being around people in general- but Olivia is different, she accepts me for me, and doesn't mind that I'm into girls, she totally cool with it. Lots of girls at my old school would judge me for my sexuality, which is one of the main reasons I didn't have that many friends back in Florida. Katy and I haven't communicated since the first day of school, when she waved at me in class. I really don't think that we is interested in me, I honestly don't think I'm the prettiest person.

Olivia and I walk to our lockers, which is right next to each other's. I open my locker, fully remembering the combination and how to open the lock. Olivia takes out her English book for first period and puts in her bag. When my locker is fully open, a note falls to the floor. I look over at Olivia with a questioning look, she shrugs and continues looking in her little mirror, that is in the back of her locker. Picking up the note that was laid on the shiny floor, on the front of the folded notebook paper is a heart. I open it to very neat handwriting.

'Hey Hillary.. Just wanted to tell you that you look hot. (; xx
- The Note.'

I show the note to Olivia, I ask if it was her who wrote the note, as a joke, but she said that she didn't write it. I turn around when I hear heels clicking on the hallway floor. Katy is walking by, all eyes on her. I wouldn't be surprised if all the girls at this school went lesbian for her. She turns her head towards me and Olivia, sending me a wink. That's the first time she's communicated with me since the first day of school. She's never talked to me before, she's just waved and winked at me. I smile at her and turn around to face my locker, looking down at the note, I read it over and over again, scrunching my eyebrows. Who could've wrote this?

Olivia playfully bumped my arm and wiggles her eyebrows at me.

"What?" I laugh, stilling holding the note in my hand.

"Katy," she looked over at Katy, she was talking to some people at her locker. "She's totally into you. She winked at you." She squealed. I rolled my eyes at her. I mean, Katy can't be into me, she doesn't know anything about me, never even talked to me before.

"I can tell by the look on your face that you think she's not into you, but she is." Olivia said, grabbing my shoulders.

"I don't think so," I sigh, looking over at Katy and her friends as they laugh and joke around. the bell rings and everyone in the hallway heads to their first period class. "Let's go," I lead Olivia.
________

It's Friday night, Olivia invited me to a party that some popular people that I don't know are throwing. Honestly, I don't know how Olivia got invited to that party, knowing her she's probably not even invited and is just going without and invitation. Most likely, Katy will be there because she is the most popular girl at our high school.

I hear the door bell ring, I walk downstairs from my bedroom and open the front door, Olivia standing there, a smile on her face and two shiny dresses in her hands.

"How did you get my address?" I ask weirdly, having a bit of a sarcastic tone in my voice.

"We don't need need worry about that," she says stepping in the hallway, wiping the bottom of her feet on the carpet. "Let's get ready for that party!" She leads me upstairs into my room.

Olivia does my makeup and hair, slightly curling it, making it look wavy and thick. She does a natural look for my makeup, she puts red lipstick and a thin layer on black eyeliner on me eyelids.
