It's Saturday and we're at Lauren place getting ready for dinner. Raven made a reservation at a restaurant and I just finished showering. Raven did my makeup and now I'm curling my hair.
"What are you guys wearing tonight ?" Raven ask while doing her makeup
"I'm deciding between two dresses. I have this dark bleu dress, which I think is super cute, but the black dress is everything. What do you guys think?" Lauren says holding up both dresses
I turn to her and said "I think you should wear the dark bleu dress"
Lauren looks at it, then shakes her head. "No, I prefer the black one"
"I agree wit Lauren" Raven says tossing the bleu dress somewhere in the room
I sigh. I still don't know what I'm going to wear.
"So Julia what are you going to wearing?" Raven ask
"Honestly, I have no idea" I say feeling annoyed
"Lauren, do you anything for Julia to wear?" Raven ask
"I do. Let's see" Lauren says, making her way into her closet
I follow her, hoping to find something suitable. One thing about me I don't want my outfit to be too short or revealing. That's for my future husband of course.
"Okay Julia, I have a few options for you" Lauren says pulling out some dresses
She lays them out on the bed, and I instantly made a face. None of them are my style.
"Alright, I took I took out five dress. Pick one you like" Lauren says
"Please pick something that looks good" Raven said giving me a look
The first dress is a dark bleu one Lauren was considering, but I don't think it suit me. The second is a white long sleeve dress, modest and classy. The third is black but too revealing. The fourth is green and also revealing.
"Guys do you have something else? I don't like these" I say
"What is wrong with them?" Raven ask visibly annoyed
"Don't you see? They're too revealing. I don't like them" I say firmly
"Okay, how about the white one? It's not revealing" Lauren says holding it up
"You better wear something, or we'll bring you leftovers" Raven says with her her hand on her hips
"Are you serious?" I ask
"Yes. So pick an outfit" Raven says
I rolled my eyes, snatch the white dress from Lauren's hands, and head to the bathroom to change.
Five minutes later
I step out, now dressed in the white dress. Looking at myself in the mirror, I realize I look different. I usually prefer pants, but change is good change.
"Look at you! You never wear dresses" Raven says
"I agree you look really nice" Lauren adds
"Thanks. But we should start heading out. I don't want to be late" I says, as I grabbing my shoes and purse
"Ok let's go" Raven says
Arrived at the restaurant
We pulled up in front of the restaurant, and I immediately how fancy it is.
