The New People

The rumble was so loud I had to cover my ears.
"More than one person" Kai muttered.
I hear groaning.
Its not from us.
I grab onto Kai and blur to where the noise is. Right in the middle of Mystic Falls, the town square. Kai looks at me as if to say What the hell is going on? I shrug. Then I take a really good look at them. It's my best friend, Alexa and her boyfriend, Adam. Personally, I don't like Adam. I walk over to Alexa and nudge her with my foot. She doesn't move.
"ALEXA WAKE YOUR SORRY ASS UP BEFORE I KICK YOU FROM HERE TO ENGLAND" I yell in her ear. Kai stamps on Adam's hand and I swore I heard bones crack. I laugh. Alexa shoots up.
"Where am I, W-what am i-"
"Will you just shut up?" Kai growls. I guess he's not a people person. Kai stamps on Adam's other hand and Adam screams in pain. Alexa blurs to Kai and holds him by his collar.
"Motis" I say and she flies off of him. Kai stares at me dumbfounded.
"What are you?" He asks
"A vampire who siphons, like you" I say. He walks over to me. I grab his hand and take some of his magic. "See" I say.
"What about that?" He gestures towards Alexa.
"Magic too" I answer just as he walks up to her and drains her magic. Adam continues his ridiculous screaming, That is until I grab a crowbar and smash it over his head.
