More People?

I haven't updated this story in a while jeez

Rumbles. They were so bad, I thought I was gonna fall on my ass.
"More people?" I asked Kai.
He nodded.
We had to let Adam out of his chains a couple of days ago, because Alexa was going to kill me.. I snapped her neck though.
So here we are now, looking for the people.
"Too many people. Split up and don't get seen, I wanna find out some information first" Kai ordered.
Then I saw who they were.
Damon and Bonnie.

I missed them so much. They walked around for a little bit.
Kai looked at them intently. They stop at Elena's house.
"And this is Elena's not so burnt to a crisp house" Damon said, smirking.

It's my thing!
Damon picked up the newspaper as Bonnie stood there, thinking.
"Look at this"
"Solar Eclipse today-"
"The date" Damon pointed, rolling his eyes.
"May 10th 1994"
Kai glanced at me, putting a finger to his lips.
"I don't think we should be asking where we are, we should be asking when we are" Damon said, staring into space.

What is this? A TV show? Staring at the camera.
I know Damon would do that.
Bonnie walked up to the porch, sitting down.
"It feels so weird to be here, I practically grew up on this porch." She said to herself, or Damon, I don't know.
"Go up to them, talk, I want to know everything about them" Kai whispered to me.

He moved close.
Too close.
If I moved my face, I would be kissing him.
"Rocky, look at me." He said softly.
Since when was Kai soft?
I looked at him, my nose touching his.
What the fuck is happening to me?
"Be safe." He said.
Before I could do anything else, he hugged me.
I hugged back.
It felt good.
It's been a couple of months since I've been hugged. He pulled back.
"Come back soon." He said and kissed my cheek.

Wow. Kai's gone soft.
I moved from around the car and walked towards them.
Damon was the first one to spot me.
"Rocky? What the hell are you doing here?" He asked.
I looked at the ground.
"We're the only one's here. So don't get you're hopes up." I answered.
I picture Kai smirking and nodding. I'm doing the right thing. I know I am... Aren't I?
