𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓯𝓲𝓯𝓽𝓮𝓮𝓷 - 𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓼𝓽 𝓾𝓵𝓽𝓻𝓪𝓼𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭

It was the day Stella and Chase are going to meet their little baby for the first time

"Are you  ready to go, baby girl?" Chase asked as he wrapped his arms around her waist to set his hand on hers against her bump

"Yeah. But I'm a little nervous." Stella said, turning towards him

"Same here. All we need to know is that, this little one is all healthy, in your stomach." Chase said as he hugged her, kissing her forehead, leaning down, kissing her lips and then her bump. He took her hand, leading her to the car. Once they got to the doctor's, they both went to the front desk

"Hi, do you have an appointment?" The receptionist asked

"Yes, I put it under Stokes." Chase said

"Okay... Stokes... Oh, here!" The receptionist showed them the name and Chase nodded

They sat down and saw someone in labor and she immediately got scared

"It's okay, baby. You're still in the early trimesters." Chase said as he rubbed her knuckles with his thumb

"Thank you, baby." Stella said as she put her head on his shoulder and relaxed

Soon a doctor called them in "Stella Cline?"

Stella stood up with Chase and followed the doctor

"Okay, so  this is going to be your room for your ultrasound. I'll go get your midwife so that  the appointment can start." The doctor said

They both waited awhile for their  midwife to come.

The midwife finally came in and introduced herself "Hi, my name is Dr. Campbell and I'll be your midwife for the  next few months of your pregnancy." Dr. Campbell said  "And you two are?"

"I'm Chase and  this is Stella." Chase said as the doctor shook their hands

"Shall  we look at the baby then?" She asked

"Yeah. Let's get started." Stella said as she pulled up her shirt to show her stomach. She laid on the bed and held Chase's hand

"Okay, so this gel is a little bit cold." The midwife said as she applied it

Stella squeezed Chase's hand. Jeez. It was colder than she expected. Chase rubbed his thumb on her hand and Stella calmed down. The midwife scanned her stomach and pointed to the screen

"Okay, so there is your baby. It's bigger than a normal baby, or maybe it's too early to count." The midwife said

"I suppose the baby has their father's tallness." Stella said as she smiled, earning a laugh from Chase and the midwife

"Do you want me to try and find it's heart beat? Don't worry if we can't find it now because usually, the heart hasn't developed big enough to start." The midwife said

"Yeah, sure." Chase said

The midwife took another tool and scanned it over Stella's stomach. Then she heard a strong heart beat "You must be farther in your pregnancy than you thought."

"Or maybe it just has a big heart like it's mother?" Chase asked with tears in his eyes

"Okay, so the appointment is over. If you want, I can print out some pictures and some videos so that you can look at your baby and hear it's heartbeat." The midwife said

"We would love that." Stella said

The midwife wiped the gel off of Stella's stomach and gave them the pictures and some videos.

It was night time and Chase had just passed out on the bed, fully clothed so Stella decided to undress him until he was just in his boxers. She looked at him before she snuggled into bed with him

"This baby is definitely going to survive with a heart beat like it's fathers. Big and strong." Stella said to herself as she then curled up under the blankets and Chase pulled her in
