Bacon. My eyes shot straight up. Bacon was my weakness. I loved it, I love all types of bacon but my favorite is turkey. I smell the crispness of the bacon frying. I look around my room. The soft pink walls and beautiful tribal paintings. That's when it hit me that I'm not in my room. I look down to see that I'm wearing my same clothes from yesterday. I get up from the California king bed and follow the smell of the bacon. The house was spotless. It looked as if there wasn't a crazy party last night. I find myself in the kitchen gawking at Pacer over the stove. He wore a white tank that barely covered his muscles and he was wearing a pair of sweats. His face was so concentrated on the bacon and pancakes he didn't even notice me staring at him. "If your going to stare at somebody please take the time and say hi." Pacer says not even turning around. I sit at the island table "I wasn't staring at you I was looking at that delicious smelling bacon." He turned around and take in his citrus smell. "Whoa that hurts could you at least say good morning before you insult me." He places his hand over his heart. He then turns around and flips the golden brown pancakes on top a pearly white plate. In a swift motion he places down two cups of orange juice and pancakes and bacon. They smelt so good my mouth began to water. "Don't drool yet wait until you put it in your mouth." I smacked him in chest using so much force. When my hand connected with his chest I felt electrical shocks through my hands. I felt my face heat up and I didn't bother to look up. His hand touches my arm lightly. "Hey guys." I hear Archer come around the corner to the kitchen. I quickly regain my composure and turn around to greet Archer, red cheeks and all. "Did I interrupt something?" I can feel Pacers eyes roam my backside. "No just checking if he didn't try to poison us." I say too quickly that Archer gives me a suspicious look. I sat down picking at my food. "Hey Archy I made some pancakes eat some because your friend is being dumb." I flick a piece of bacon at him, which he catches and puts it right in his mouth. I roll my eyes with disgust and start to eat the soft pancakes. They melted in my mouth like butter. "These are good man better than Sanna's. Sorry he's got you beat." If looks could kill the expression on my face would have landed Archer six feet under. "Whoa buddy you took it a little to far. These pancakes are okay. Never better than mines." Both Archer and Pacer start laughing. Their laughing like their best friends or they've known each other for a long time. I eye both of them, and began to discard the rest of my food. "Hey Archer can you finish up we need to get home." I yell. My dad might come home early. I think to myself. The amount of trouble I would be in if he finds out I'm not home. I feel an electrical shock on my hands and realize Pacer's hand is on top of mine. "You okay?" The look of worry was deep in his eyes. "Yyeah" I stutter out. I wanted to take his hand off of mine but something was preventing me from doing it. "Thanks for letting us stay the night, but we have to go. See you in school man." Archer removes me from my frozen stance and pounded Pacer with his fist. Archer is practically dragging me to the car and Pacer was watching us from his window. His eyes lock on mines for an intense second then he replaces it with a smirk. I roll my eyes and hopped in the car with my best friend.

I arrive home , thankful that my father was not home. I hopped in the hot shower scrubbing off yesterday's grime. I decided to put on my bathing suite and hop in our outdoor pool. The water felt so fresh on my skin and I was in a peaceful place until I hear my father's voice. "I will tell her when she's ready. She's my daughter!" I hear a growl and then silence. "Hey Sanna I didn't know you were home." My dad says before coming into my view. My dad was much lighter than me with hazel eyes. He was 6'2 with a very strong muscular build. He has jet black hair that he slicked back. My dad was young looking despite the fact, my parents had me young. I got my complexion from my mother, from the pictures I've seen she was beautiful. "Yeah why wouldn't I be home ?" My dad gives me this look that tells me he knows something. "The house was quiet. I figured you and Archer went out training or something. You know you have that competition coming up and they are only looking for best swimmers for the scholarship." I roll my eyes because I heard this speech so many times. "I was actually training now but I heard you come in. Is everything okay?" He tenses up and I can tell that something is up. "Everything is fine how about you go out with Archer. I have some guys coming over to watch football." I can tell something is up because he doesn't look me in my eyes. "Okay." I get out the pool and begin to text Archer when the door bell rings. "Sanna get that for me if its the boys tell them I'm in the den." I roll my eyes and wrap my towel around my damp body. I open the door to a smirking Pacer. "Twice in a week I see you wet." I open my mouth to say something only to be cut off by my father. "Pacer meet me in the den." What the hell. I think to myself.
