So I've been getting quite a few comments about how Rory doesn't have much personality and says the same things as Elena and does the same thing as Elena did in the show and I thought I should just share the reason why. I wrote it in a comment someone had made but this isn't about the commenter this is strictly because there has been multiple comments that I may have deleted or just ignored and I will defend Rory always and also this is just a fanfic, not that serious but anyway. Here's the disclaimer.
I was trying to get through season 1 quite quickly and I knew all the things personality wise she was going to have in season 2 but I couldn't start at season 2 because obviously this is a Salvatore brothers fanfic and people would've just assumed Stefan was with Elena. Because I wanted to get things done quickly I had a transcript and some of the things she says would go with the scene and I wasn't going to change every single word to replace it with a new one so l decided to just run with the transcript and any other things I wanted to add I added them. I tried to change it but it was taking twice as long as it did when I was going along with some of the things Elena said also there were personal issues that I was going through and the schedule I gave to myself to have chapters on it wasn't going to work if I didn't just do that just for season 1 or/and for some of season 2.
