Song: Livewire - Oh Wonder
(Troye's POV)

"Connah?" I said shocked that the rude cashier would be 1) My soulmate and 2) Nice (in a letter at least.) He looked at me confused most likely wondering how I knew his name. I didn't know how to approach the subject of him being rude to me so I just kinda went for it. "A while ago, I went to the coffee shop you worked at and you were the cashier and you were a bit... rude" I whispered the last word. I know we only met once and he was rude that one time but first impressions stick to you.

Honestly, the only reason I recognized him is because it wasn't really that long ago and I have thought about him quite a lot. It did cross my mind that maybe he was having a bad day and he was just a bit annoyed about something.

His eyes widened "Oh umm sorry about that, I recognize you now, I mean how could I forget the sparkle of happiness in your gorgeous blue eyes and your accent, THE ACCENT!! I have a thing for guys...." he suddenly stopped rambling and blushed almost as much as I did. He continued "I was having an off day, I was stressed and my mom isn't really doing well... that didn't give me a reason to be rude to you, sorry."

By now he was looking me in the eye, tears visible, while playing with his fingers. Instead of saying anything I walked over to him and gave him a big warm hug which he returned. I feel bad that I was too quick to judge him and to call him out that way but I guess things happen for a reason... right?

His smaller frame fit perfectly in mine like a puzzle piece. The warmth radiating off of his body reminded me of the loving hugs my parents gave me after coming out to them. Their accepting hug was just like the one I was giving Connor while convincing him it was all okay. After hugging his dejected emotions away I asked him if he wanted to meet Dan and Phil for dinner Friday night. He happily obliged and I texted Dan telling him the news.

~Friday Night~

His green eyes were darting around looking for passing cars, waiting for a safe time to cross. When he saw the opening he grabbed my hand, intertwining our fingers, and dragged me across the road. When we got to the other side he blushed, realizing he was still holding my hand, and let go leaving my hand cold. We realized the restaurant wasn't too far so he insisted on walking.... Exercise isn't my thing.

Entering the restaurant was a hassle as it was the busiest restaurant in town. We quickly spotted Dan and Phil sitting but there were two other heads. As we came closer to the table I realized who they were but only one caught my eye and made me stop breathing all together.

Tyler.
