Getting to know you

Klaus and Caroline sat down and ordered their food.

"You know I know nothing about you." Caroline said taking a bite of her linguini pasta.

"Well ask away, love i'll answer all of your curiosities." Klaus said smirking.

"When were you born?" She said making a mental list of the next line of a hundred questions.

"Oh I don't remember but I was turned in 114 A.D." Klaus said and Caroline's eyes opened wide.

"Wow your an old man!" She said and they both started cracking up.

"Fine then leave me if I'm so old!" He said as a joke but Caroline made it serious

Caroline reached over the table and kissed him "I'll never leave you." she said and caressed his cheek.

"Thank you, I've never been loved truly before you." He said and put his hand over the hand on his cheek.

"Ok tonight is a happy night ok?" Caroline said trying to lighten up the mood.

"Yes..." A maniacal grin grew on klaus's face. "My turn to ask a question, love" He said.

"No we never agreed on that." She said shaking her head.

"What exact night did you begin developing feelings for me?" He said.

"It was the night that your family through the ball." She started and Klaus's grin faded.

"It was the first time that I felt you were opening up to me a bit differently than you did with other people and your family... How exactly is this lightening the mood??" she said embarrassed.

"It isn't but I just wanted to know."
He said eating his food.

"Ok my turn to ask again. Are the Kol, Elijah, Rebekah, and Finn your only siblings?"

"No I had a younger brother named henrique who died a thousand years ago and our oldest sister Freya."

"Where is Freya?"

"She is currently out of town with Davina having a "girls vacation" apparently." Klaus said paying the bill and they began walking to the car.

"I noticed that Kol is a bit unhappy lately do you know why?" Caroline said continuing her questions.

"Oh I'm surprised Kol never told you, He and Davina are together and he is counting the days till her return anxiously."

"AWWWW Kol does have a heart." She said and Klaus started laughing.

"Believe me I was just as surprised as you were"

"When are they coming back?" She said raising her eyebrow.

"I think it's in two days." He said thinking.

"Well I'm happy for Kol, but Elijah must be lonely."

"Ya um he's still mad at me for turning her into a mutt." He said bowing his head down.

"Ya well maybe that wasn't the best way of dealing with it Klaus but I understand why you did it." She said converting him.

"Ok we should go its getting late." Klaus said and they got in the car and drove home.
