Assalamualaikum. (May peace and blessings be with you)
Bismillahi rahman nir-raheem. (In the name of Allah, the most merciful, the always merciful)
Once upon a time, when I was a little girl (not that I'm too old now), I started writing. I was around seven, I think. The first poem I wrote was for my dad. I missed him a lot, as I hadn't seen him for about a month. With whatever English the seven year old me knew I wrote the following poem for my dad. (Yes I'm a daddy's girl)
The sky is blue,
The sea has a clear view,
But my heart is filled with love for you.Silly, I know. But at that moment, I felt amazing. And I felt a hundred times more better when my dad was speechless on hearing it.
And now, I realise how much words can affect a person. We, humans are a special form of species in the living world because of our ability to understand and converse in different languages. And these languages are built by nothing but a collections of letters - words.
Letters to words to sentences to paragraphs to an endless world of possibilities. A portal to connect with emotions.
And ever since then, I've been writing and reading. And I've fallen in love with it.
So I've decided to put in all my thoughts, writings and pieces of other people's works (credit will be given) which have sparked my emotions, in this book. Here you'll have a sneak peak into my mind - into the darkest and deepest places and the funny and jovial side, and also the furious ranting portion along with the advising, comforting part of me.
So InShaAllah get ready to smile, cry, laugh and think. Get ready, to read this book which bleeds words.
