Chapter 3: Falling asleep, Falling Inlove
Chloe's POV
I still can't move on with what Naomi said, like omg. Sand?! I can't believe Jenna (Naomi's mom) believed that.
Naomi fell asleep again, now here she is - head in my shoulder - sleeping like a baby.
Me and Naomi had been bestfriends since we we're like 8 or 9. As kids, we we're actually unseparable, which made me become close to her family - And her to mine.
Through the years, I started to develop feelings for her. I tell her sometimes, but she thinks its just a joke. Well, thats because we're drunk ofcourse. So she either laughs at me or forgets it in the morning.
I've actually never had the courage to tell her when I'm sober, which makes me a coward.
The problem is: She's my bestfriend. And for god's sake, I dont want to ruin our friendship. She means everything to me. Seeing HER happy, makes ME happy. Even if it means - her dating other people, yeah.
I felt her move a little bit so I held her head placing it in a more comfortable postion on my shoulder. I laid my head in hers too. It only took about 5 minutes or so before I fell asleep as well.
