Violet's P.O.V.
I woke up to my lovely twin brother, Ron, screaming in my ear. "VI WAKE UP! WE ARE GOING TO DIAGON ALLY! WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UUUUUUUP!!" I looked at him with a glare that could make death itself run with fright.
He backed away slowly as I said menacingly, "Never. Wake. Me. Up. Like. That. AGAIN!" He ran out of the room, scared. I slowly crawled out of bed and got ready, wearing my usual. I wore black skinny jeans, a maroon cami, combat boots, and a leather jacket. I ran down stairs to join my brothers. A.K.A, Percy, Gred and Forge (Fred and George), and Ronnikins. My other brothers already graduated Hogwarts, which would be Bill and Charlie.
Mum looked at me and said, "Good, you're here." then turned to everyone else. "Okay, we will be travelling by floo powder. Let's go. By age. So since Violet is the youngest she will go first." I yelled at the top of my lungs, "BY SEVEN MINUTES, MUM! SEVEN MINUTES!" As Ron snickered, I stared him dead in the eye with a smirk, and said " You must have forgotten who's apprentice I am."
"Ya, Ron. She is-" Fred started.
"Making great progress." George finished.
"So, You better watch your back." they said in sync.
"Ok, Ok, stop fooling around and get a move on, Violet" she snapped. Though, it looked like she was trying hard not to smile. I just nodded and threw the powder in the fire while yelling, "DIAGON ALLY!"
I fell through the other fireplace at the leaky cauldron, and waited for my family of redheaded nutters to come through. Once everyone was through, we started getting our supplies. "OK, we'll go in pairs. Your father and I will get the books, Fred and George can get their supplies, and Violet and Ron can get there wands and other things with your allowance. OK? OK." (A/N. HAR HAR HAR)
As Ron and I walked through Diagon Ally, we saw shops selling animals, brooms, books, potions supplies, and so much other stuff. We glanced through crowds of wizards and witches in different colored robes. I obviously was not paying attention and neither was Ron, because he was gone and I had bumped into someone. I fell down and scraped my hands. Slight blood, not biggie.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going!" someone exclaimed.
I looked up to see a boy about my age, with messy black hair and gorgeous green eyes. He had over-sized clothes on, and glasses that look like they were broken and fixed, well trying to be fixed, several times. When I realized I had been starring at him, I looked down and blushed.
"It's fine, I wasn't really looking at where I was going either." I mumbled.
"Here, let me help you up." The boy said, extending his hand. I took it, and he pulled me up. He must not have realized how light I was, because he pulled a little too hard and I fell back down. But this time, on top of him. I looked into his eyes, looked away, and blushed rolling off of him. We both got up and said 'sorry' at the same time.
We kinda just starred at each other awhile, then I realized how awkward this was, and decided to say something. I opened my mouth to ask his name, but apparently he had the same idea, because he asked me, "So, what's your name?"
"Oh, my name is Violet, Violet Weasley." I replied with a smile.
"So, whats your's?" I asked curious.
He opened his mouth to speak, when we suddenly heard a very disruptive, annoying voice *cough* my twin *cough* call out, "Violet! There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you! Come on, let's go!" Ron started pulling my arm, giving me barely enough time to say bye to the boy with the green eyes. He gave a cute half smile- WAIT, CUTE?!
You've gotta admit he was kinda cute, said my inner brain.
No, He is not. I don't have a crush on him.
Oh, but you're wrong. You do.
What?! No, no I don't. I just met him.
But, he's certainly appealing to you.
SHUT UP!
You can't shut up your thoughts.
...Ugh
Pushing that thought aside, I realized we were in front of Ollivander's. Ron was snapping his fingers in front of my face impatiently. I looked at him annoyed and said "What?!" Ron was looking at me with an accusing look, and said, " Who were you talking to?! And WHY were you talking to him?!"
I sighed exasperatedly, "I don't see why it's any of your business, but if you must know, I bumped into him and we started talking. Of course, I never got his name because you interrupted us." Ron looked at me suspiciously, and so kindly (note the sarcasm) decided to mention, "Good, I am your older brother. That means no boys whatsoever."
I looked at him and said, " Um, we're talking about this later. But, for now let's get our wands, yeah?" We went in, and were greeted by a creepy man with crazy hair. Fun. By the time I got my wand, I had water all over the floor, mud on Ron, clouds swirling around Mr. Ollivander, and had set a shelf on fire. My wand was 9 3/4 inches, (A/n see what I did there) cherry wood, and a core of phoenix feather and phoenix hair. Ya, both. Apparently it's SUPER powerful.
We met back with our family, and all went home. I'm so excited for Hogwarts. I want to get a head start, so I'm gonna read my textbooks now. I hope to see the boy with the green eyes there, too.
