Setting : sometime in the outlaw queen
It's 3:30 in the morning, her stomach began to churn, cold sweat pumped out of her body. She ran from the warmth of her bed to the cold floor of the bathroom, her head hung over the toilet, she felt horrid.
She dreaded the result of what she was about to do, but if true loves kiss could break any curse then there could be a chance. She got to her feet being as quiet as she could in order not to wake the sleeping Robin who lay in her bed.
She opened the bathroom cabinet taking out a pregnancy test. She had bought hem after she had seen Robins lion tattoo, the knowledge that he was her soul mate and that they were truly in love, made her feel a slight glimmer of hope that one day she could give him a child.
She place the pregnancy test on the side near the sink and turned her back, the next two minutes where going to feel like a life time.
Her watch ticked by, her two minutes were up as she turned to look at the test results, the door handle turned and Robin walked in. He was not fully awake his eyes barely open his brain had not processed the scene in front of him.
" Regina are you..." His sentence was cut off.
"Pregnant. Yes" she said with sass
He nodded sleepily and turned to leave the bathroom. Regina knew he had not comprehended what she said. She stood waiting for the penny to drop.
" Regina! What! But You! I ..." He came running back in stopping talking as he kissed her.
She looked at the happiness that filled his eyes. As he held her close. They stayed like that for about five minutes.
"Can we go back to bed now please? " Regina smiled
" Of course I'm sorry." He took her hand and walked with her back to the bed room.
Sunlight crept through the gap in the curtains. Regina lay flat on her back with Robin at the side of her. One of his hands was placed on her stomach, protecting their unborn child.
The alarm buzz waking Robin from his slumber.
" Good morning baby." He smiled
"Good..." she stopped as she realised Robin was not talking to her, but to her stomach.
" And good morning to you too milady." Robin kissed Regina with gentle passion.
" Papa it's morning." Roland ran in jumping on the bed inches from Regina's stomach.
" Roland go brush your teeth and get ready for breakfast please." Roland left the room.
" I was hoping you would come to see doctor Whale with me. I meant if you want to you don't have to its up to you." Regina fumbled with her words.
" Regina I am going to be with you every step of the way weather you want me here or not." Robin kissed Regina forehead.
They had just finished breakfast. They where all in the kitchen clearing away the dishes.
" Henry darling I was hoping you could take Roland to he park for a bit me and Robin have a town meeting thing we need to attend." Regina spoke directly to Henry lying to him about where they where going.
" Sure can we get ice Cream? " Henry smiled.
They got to granny's and parted ways Henry took Roland for and ice cream before heading to the park where as Robin and Regina made there way to the hospital.
They sat in the doctors office waiting for doctor Whale to enter. Regina wore black leggings and an oversized t shirt.
" Madame mayor, Robin how can I help you today?" He asked although he thought he knew the answer.
"Err... well I'm." Her cheeks where glowing red with embaressment.
" Regina are you Pregnant? " the doctor asked.
" Yes" she answered simply.
They doctor wheeled the sonogram machine over to them. She lay back and lifting her top. She winced at the icy coldness of the gel.
" Well there you go. Two hearts beating perfectly."
It had been nine long months and Regina was now the size of a small elephant. Her screams rang through the walls of the hospital. It was time for her to deliver.
" One more push Regina. " doctor Whale boomed. " And there you go one healthy baby boy. you will have about ten minutes before the next one."
"What?" Robin and Regina said in unison. It now made sense at the first sonogram the two hearts beating where not Regina's and the baby's but the hearts of their twins.
The pain started again but ended quicker this time and she was handed a beautiful baby girl.
Henry, Emma, Killian, Snow, David and Roland sat in the room with Robin, Regina and the twins.
" So names." Snow beamed holding the baby boy.
" I was thinking luke and leia. " Regina kept a straight face as Henry burst out laughing.
" Raelynne" Robin said looking at his daughter.
" I like it. Raelynne it is." Regina smiled.
" Robin do all your children's names have to start with R?" Killian joked.
" Anyway boys names. Go!"
"Sebastian, Clancy, gaylord, Arthur, percy, odin, brice, Elian, Kingsley, reuben, .." Snow fired
"Reuben. That's it. Reuben."
"Well Raelynne and Reuben welcome to your family."
