Okay so literally NO writing got done here, well maybe 50 words, and there was a VERY good reason for this!
It all started with a fashion shoot going on outside and then they came in for a few photos. Not sure why they wanted to have a picture in a laundarette but hey... We saw a major diva and a photographer who must have been sponsored by the phrase 'mid shot'
THAT wasn't theexciting part...
So I'm sitting in the launderette with my friend, Kerry and fellow OUAD writer, Will. Outside(after the fashion shoot) there was an oldish man with crazy messy grey hair and a walking stick. What drew us to him was him shouting at three young (fairly good looking!) people, two guys and a girl. From what we could hear, and yes we had all turned to watch this!, it seems the old man thought he was owed a jacket. No you didn't read that wrong! He was 'told' he could HAVE some jacket.
Our theory was he stole it and was trying to talk his way out of it. One of the guys he was shouting at touched his arm, I think to try and get the guy to chill the hell out, to which Mr Thief replied 'That's common assault' LOL!
Mr Thief was getting angrier and angrier, and thankfully for us, louder and louder. Unfortunately for us, the other guy wasn't. By this time I was ready to move to London because the most action I see where I live is the occasional drunk person taking the shortcut past my house and falling over!
Just as Mr Thief was looked like he was going to hit them all with his stick one of them pulls a radio thingy out of his back pocket. Yep, undercover police! I think our reactions were the same 'ooooh' and then a little giggle! The girl (who was clearly too young and belonged on a photoshoot) pulled out a pair of handcuffs.
Mr Thief was cuffed and hauled away into a police van. At one point he had his leg stretched out and was literally being carried!
So of all the locations, including a police station, the laundarette was by far the most exciting! I just wish I had filmed it! I <3 London!
