Chapter: 4

LUKE'S POV:

I got out of the bed and I put my clothes on quickly.

"Leaving so soon?" She said.

"Yeah, sorry. I was supposed to be home last night. I had plans but.. I'm sorry." I say looking at her.

"Okay. Bye. Had fun." she said.

"Me too." I said walking out.

I got in my car, started it, and drove home. I walked in the house and everyone was sitting in the living room Calum,  the girl Calum got pregnant , Rachael, Ashton, Melissa, Michael, and Jessica.

"So much for laser tag with us." Michael says.

"He has better things to do then spend time with us." Ashton says.

"Really guys?" Calum says.

"No, leave it. It's fine. It's not like they really want me around, there always up some girls ass when I'm around." I say going up the stairs.

"Luke!" Ashton screams.

"Leave him alone." I heard Calum say.

"NO! He will respect me!" Ashton screamed. I turned around and walked down the steps as he stood up and walked my way.

"What the hell do you mean 'respect you' ?! When have I ever disrespected you? I'm giving you permission to date the girl that I love, that I've been fighting for, the girl of my dreams and you knew I did! How much do you expect me to give you? I lied! I'm not okay with it! But, I see that you are both happy, and that's what I want! So, leave me the fuck alone, Ashton!" I say walking out of the house, I started walking down the street and then started running.

I don't know where I'm going but I know that I'm getting away from my house.

ASHTON'S POV :

He ran out the door. I looked over at Melissa and she was just staring past me.

"What the hell is wrong with you guys? We're so to be here for him! And you guys are trying to put him down! And really Ashton? I told you to leave him alone! You made it worse! Y'all better get your shit together!" Calum said taking Jasmine's hand. "I'm bringing him home and I and I want every one out! It's only gonna be us 4. And your gonna apologize!" he screamed and they walked out.

"You got out of line." Michael said.

"Like, you didn't?" I say to him.

"Not like you did." He said. He looked to his side and reached for Jessica's hand, "I'll take you home."

"Thanks." She took it.  They walked out of the house. Michael peeked his head back in, "You need to take her home, too."

"I'll do whatever I want." He rolled his eyes and shut the door.

"Are you okay?" I looked at Melissa.

"Yeah. We better go." She said.

"I'm sorry.." I rub the back of my neck.

"It's okay." She walked up to me and kissed me. "But, you need to talk to him." she said.

"I will."

We got in the car and I took her home.

LUKE'S POV:

It's been an hour since I've been running. I haven't stopped for anything. I hear a honk, but I keep running. Then, I hear Calum screaming, "Luke!" I stop , turn around and tears started falling down my face and he parks the car and get out and walks up to me, "We're gonna go home and talk about this. All 4 of us. Only us."

"I don't care, anymore! I don't want to fight! I just want you all to leave me alone! I'm tired of trying to keep us together, its pointless. Especially when its only one person trying. " I start to walk away but Calum grabbed my arm.

"I'm trying, too! And does it look like I care that you tired of it? No, cause you are our brother, Luke. Nothing is gonna change that. Not even the bumps in the road. So, get your ass in that car before I carry you!" he says. I walked passed him and got in the car. The whole ride there was complete silence.

I walked in the house and when I walked in Ashton and Micheal was sitting there arguing. I rolled my eyes and sat in the chair. Calum walked in behind me.

"Look at each other! For goodness sake! You act like you all want to kill each other. We are brothers. This arguing has got to stop. I mean now. We need to be there for each other, help each other and we're doing the exact opposite. We all make mistakes cause we are humans. But, we have to get through it together. Not turn against each other. We've learned better than that, you guys know that."
he looks at all of us.

"Oh whatever! Bullshit! You act like your innocent in this whole thing but, your not! Why do we get the lecture?" Ashton smarts off.

"Cause your being an asshole! Calum and I have been trying to keep it calm between us! We just want it to go back to normal because face it we're tearing apart. Your so interested in having Melissa to yourself. Well, guess what? You got her! I'm not going to lose you over a girl. We are suppose to be brothers. Now, can we be brothers?  Act like it? I'm so tired of fighting with you. I miss how it used to be. If you don't take this as a warning then, I'm done." I say and look at Ashton.

"Why didn't you say that before?" He asked.

"I've tried! You don't listen! That's what I've been saying all day." I say.

"I'm sorry.. " He looks at me.

"I'm over it. " I say.

"Micheal, I think its time that you get involved with us. You always want to be with some girl. You, too, Calum. All of you. Even I was. But only because I looked up to you all and I thought I was doing it right. This last week I didn't want to be around any of you because you all pushed me away and treated me like a baby. I just miss you guys. " a tear slid down my face. "I'm not going to compete with the girls you guys sleep with, anymore. You can have us both, but you have to make time for us both. " I say.

"I'm so sorry, Luke. I didn't realize you felt that way." Micheal said.

"I'm telling you, now. " I say standing up.

"Laser tag at 6?" Micheal asked.

"Then, dinner at 8." Ashton finished.

"Only us 4." Calum smiled.

"Sounds great. I'm going to get cleaned up and then take a nap. 3 hours from now. Pizza for dinner?" I say.

"Yeah, sounds good. " Ashton said. They all look at me and smile.

"I love you, guys! " I say running up stairs.

"Love you,  too, bro!" they all yell.

I did as I said and killed more time playing video games and passing levels i never finished.
