Chapter 17

When we got back to my house we decided to post the videos on every social media app possible. "Ok what now?" Bobbi asked. "Well I have 4 movies. Do you want to watch one now?" I asked. Everyone said yes. "Ok well I've picked out the Notebook, Mazer Runner, Con-" "Mazer Runner!" Vanessa yelled, cutting me off. "I'm in love with the books and movie!" I said. "Oh my gosh me too!" Vanessa said excitedly. "Oh god their going to geek out." Cece groaned. "Hey the Maze Runner is amazing." Wolf said. "Yasss!" Vanessa and I said at the same time. "Ok it's settled, we are watching Maze Runner and any one who has a problem can shut up and deal with it." I said. I put the movie in and Vanessa, Wolf, and I sat on the couch really close together and ate popcorn. We were literally mouthing the words to the movie. I've probably watched this movie 1,000 times.

Once the movie was over we decided to play truth or dare. "Ok Cece truth or dare?" I asked. "Um dare." She answered. "I dare you to call Jake and tell him your pregnant." I said while I wiggled my eye brows. "Oh my gosh that's so evil. I love it." Cece said. She picked her phone up and dialed Jakes number and put her phone on speaker. "Hey babe." Jake answered. I internally awed. "J-Jake I have to tell you something." Cece said. I mentally applauded her for her excellent acting skills. "What is it baby?" Jake asked. "Jake I-I'm pregnant." Cece said. She then went on to fake cry. "What?! It's been less that 24 hours.
You can't even tell yet unless you cheated on me! Oh my god did you cheat on me?" Jake asked frantically. "No this was a prank I got to go ok love you bye!" Cece said really fast. She hung up the phone and gave me a smile. My mouth hung open. "Ronniece Marie Sterling! Did you and Jake do it today before you came here?" I asked/yelled. "Ok maybe but it was the first time don't be mad." Cece said. "I'm not mad. My cuz is growing up. Just be safe." I said. Cece sighed in relief. "Ok Bobbi truth or dare?" Cece asked. "Truth." Bobbi replied. "Ok do you miss being with Grayson?" Cece asked. "Everyday. Madison truth or dare?" Bobbi asked me. "Dare." I replied. "Ok I dare you to call Ethan and tell him that you and Jack kissed." She told me. "You are so diabolically evil and that's why I love you." I said. I pulled out my phone and called Ethan. I put it on speaker phone and on the third ring he answered. "Hey princess." He answered. "Ethan I have to tell you something. Please don't be mad at me." I said in a shaky voice. "I won't I promise. What is it?" He asked. "Ok so after the girls and I left your house we decided to go to subway. Well Jack and I started to talk and I don't know what happened but.." I trailed off. "But what Madison?" He asked. "We kissed." I said. I pulled the phone away from me and covered my mouth so he wouldn't hear me laugh. "Are you fucking serious? You know what now I don't even feel bad for kissing Sarah." Ethan said. I felt the color drain from my face. "A-are you serious?" I asked. I was praying that he knows I was pranking him so he's pranking me. "Yeah I am." I could hear how mad he was. "Ethan, I was joking. I got dared to tell you Jake and I kissed. How could you?" I asked. I looked around the room and it looked like every girl there even Vanessa was ready to kill a cheating hoe. I heard Ethan mumble a fuck. "Madison I'm so sorry. It was one time. The day that you saw us together. I didn't mean for it to happen. It was a mistake. Please forgive me." He begged. "Ethan I forgive you." I said. I heard him sigh in relief. "But we're through." I immediately hung up. Everyone just watched me. Probably wondering if I'm going to burst into tears or punch a hole in the wall. "I vote for a trip to the beach. Right here right now. My aunt has a beach house. Do you want to go?" I asked. Smiles formed on everyone's faces. "I'm in." Bobbi said. "Me too." Wolf said. "Let's go!" Vanessa yelled. "I'm with you cuz!" Cece pumped her hand into the air. "Ok how long you want to stay?" I asked. "I say a three day weekend would be good." Bobbi said. Everyone agreed.

Cece and I rushed around gathering our clothes and everything. We were going to stop by the other girls houses to let them ask their parents and get their stuff. My phone would not stop ringing because of Ethan. I decided to just leave my phone at home. "Ok so clearly we can't take my truck so who's car are we taking?" I asked once Cece and I were all done. "I have my jeep. Has enough room for everyone." Vanessa offered. "Sweet. I love jeeps." I said excitedly. "Ok you can drive since you know where to go." Vanessa said. I gasped and hugged her. "Your the best." I said. She laughed and hugged back. "Ok let's go." I said. Before I left I grabbed all the candy. We all got in Vanessa's black jeep. I pulled out of the driveway and drove in front of Ethan's house. I put my foot on the brake and honked the horn. Everyone gave me a confused look but I ignored them and took the elephant necklace that Ethan gave me for my birthday off. Ethan came jogging outside. As he approached the jeep I saw that his eyes were all red and puffy. "Madison please take me back. I love you I made a mistake." Ethan begged. "Sorry Ethan don't have time for this." I said. I stuck my hand out and Ethan did the same. I dropped the elephant necklace in his hand and stepped on the gas pedal. As I drove away I saw Ethan just sit down in the grass and place his head in his hands. "Ohh Madison cold hearted!" Cece yelled. "The coldest." I said causing everyone to laugh.

Luckily everyone's parents let everyone go. "Ok so it's like a hour and a half drive there. We should pick up some food and drinks on the way there. There's this cute little store there that sells everything you could imagine and it also sells fresh pizza and the best ice cream." I said. "Yasss ice cream!" Bobbi yelled. I laughed. "I'm so excited. I haven't been there in forever." I said. "Nether have I. We use to have the best time there." Cece added. I laughed. "Remember when I was like 8 and I said I could fly and I jumped off the roof?" I asked. "You are so lucky my dad was there to catch you." Cece laughed. "Very." I agreed. I turned on the radio and we started to jam out. I'm so ready to just get away. I pulled onto the highway and took a deep breath. I'm so ready for this.
