Heaven (Poem for the parents out there)

Heaven

Verse 1 - Smiling, searching for an answer to my problems in this life of mine, wondering if the world's gonna' smile down on me and make me feel like like I can fly.

Chorus - Look up-to the sky and keep your head held high, remember there's darker times and then lighter times, you're heaven and I'm glad you're mine.

Verse 2 - An angel smiled at me and said my life's gonna' be fine, I wonder if some days I'm just crazy and outta' my mind, then I think of all the shit I been through and realise that nothing's gonna stop me from loving you, because I know you are all the strength that I need to see me through this life and everything that we've been through.

Verse 3 - Crying isn't the right thing to do in-front of your children as they see you as their soldier, so I'ma be that soldier and carry my strength over the line and hold my children and act that little more braver.

Verse 4 - Life's never gonna' give any promises, the best thing you can do in life is forgive the past and build new bridges, stay strong, admit when you're wrong, and remember.. You're always a hero, a hero that I know can always be life's song.
