She looked back and forth, panicking as to whether he was behind her.....or in front.
"Where are you going, you little bitch?!" His voice echoed throughout the alley.
She stayed quiet, running silently, silence masking her horrified figure.
"I'll say that cliché line. You can run, but you can't hide." He chuckled quietly.
Horror coursed throughout her body. Adrenaline rushed through her veins, her senses became more alert. A black light shine through her chest, she felt her eyes adjusting to the darkness. "Don't fret. I will keep you safe." A voice in her head spoke. She suddenly stopped, a blinding pain in her chest forcing her to. "Relax. Don't fight it. It's what happens when you shift for the first time." The voice cooed. She nodded and just stood there. Pain ran through her body. She bit onto the shoulder of her shirt to stop herself from crying out. His footsteps came closer and closer. She only had a few minutes to escape. Time was running out. She looked down to see her hands turn into paws. Her mind running rampant with questions and crazed thoughts. "Relax! This will only take another minute." One minute later, her bright green eyes shone with curiosity. Her assailant's feet stopped right near her small body. He sang. "Oh where, oh where is my little Kitty, oh where, oh where could she be." She quickly hid behind some cardboard boxes. "Ah I see. My little Kitty has run away. You will be found my dear. You will be." Her name was Samantha Kitten Ramirez.
