Chapter 1: Strange Happenings

It was a stormy day where Quentin lived. Lightning flashed, thunder clapped, and rain poured. This was just fine for Quentin. After all, he still had to take care of chores in the house and edit his video. He quickly got editing done and began to sweep the floor. All of a sudden, Quentin stopped and just stared out the window. He saw clouds and black and red wings. The rest blurred out through the bright light.

"Quentin? Are you ok?" a voice asked.

Quentin quickly snapped out of it and saw his brother, Brandon, standing there.

"I'm fine..." Quentin replied.

Brandon gave Quentin a skeptical look and walked away. After Quentin finished sweeping, he began to walked to the kitchen to wash dishes. He suddenly stopped and felt his heart race. Quentin dropped to his knees and fell on his side, his eyelids grew heavy.

Quentin saw Brandon bolted down the hall to where he laid.

"Quentin?! Can you hear me?!" Brandon yelled in a panicky tone.

Quentin stared into his brother's horrified eyes as his eyelids grew heavier.

He saw his home and Brandon fade out as he closed his eyes.
