Just then, Manik looked up at Anay with a determined expression. "Bhaiyu, mujhe Baba se milna hai," he said, his voice firm.

Anay's expression softened, but he shook his head. "Nahi, Mannu. Aaj tuh rest karo. Kal Baba se milne jayenge," he said gently.

Manik's face fell, but Anay could see the exhaustion in his eyes. He knew Manik needed to rest, and he wasn't going to let him exert himself today.

"Promise, Mannu. Kal Baba se milne jayenge. Aaj tuh so ja," Anay said, helping Manik lie back down.

Manik nodded weakly, his eyes drifting closed. Anay watched him, feeling a sense of relief washed over him. Manik was safe, and he was going to get the rest he needed.

As Manik fell asleep, Anay sat beside him, watching over him. He knew Manik was going to be okay, and he was grateful that he could be there for his little brother.

Manik slowly opened his eyes, the darkness of the room enveloping him. He lay still for a moment, listening to the sound of Anay's gentle snores coming from the sofa.

He slowly threw off the covers and swung his legs over the side of the bed, wincing in pain. But he didn't let that stop him. He had to see Baba, and had to make sure he was safe.

Manik stood up, his eyes adjusting to the darkness. He made his way to the door, careful not to make a sound. He slowly turned the handle and slipped out into the corridor.

The hospital was quiet, the only sound being the soft beeping of machines and the occasional murmur of a nurse or doctor. Manik moved quickly, his bare feet making barely a sound on the cold floor.

It's not like he didn't believe it when Anay said that Abhimanyu was safe. It was just that he wanted to see it himself. He just wants to make it sure by seeing it with hie own eyes.

Manik pushed aside the doubts and focused on finding Abhimanyu. He finally reached the room and slowly opened the door, peeking inside.

Abhimanyu lay in the bed, his eyes closed, his chest rising and falling with each breath. Manik's heart swelled with love and relief.

Manik slipped inside the room, his eyes fixed on Abhimanyu's face. He moved closer, his heart pounding with excitement. He just wanted to see , to make sure he was okay.

As he reached the bedside, Manik's eyes locked onto Abhimanyu's, and he felt a sense of peace wash over him. He was safe, and that's all that mattered.

Manik's eyes lingered on Abhimanyu's face for a moment, and then he turned to leave, his mission accomplished. But just as he was about to step away, he felt a gentle tug on his hand.

Manik turned back to see Abhimanyu's eyes open, a weak smile on his face. "Binna baat kiye ja raha hai ? Gale bhi nahin lagaega" Abhimanyu whispered, his voice barely audible.

Manik's expression softened slightly, but he didn't smile. He just looked at Abhimanyu, his eyes searching. He nodded slightly, but didn't say anything.

Abhimanyu's smile grew wider, and he pulled Manik closer, his eyes filled with love and gratitude. "Mera bachcha," he whispered, his voice full of emotion.

Manik's eyes dropped, and he looked away, his face still expressionless. But Abhimanyu could see the faintest glimmer of emotion in his eyes, and he knew that Manik was happy to see him.

" I am sorry baccha" Abhimanyu says with the guilt of his deeds.

" Sorry? Kis liye ? " Manik asked confused. He thought he was at fault.

" Sab chiz ke liye baccha , jab mujhe tere sath hona tha tab n hone ke liye. Tujhe phir se paraayaa feel karane ke liye , I am so sorry baccha . I thought I was protecting you but ended up causing more trouble." Abhimanyu says holding both of Manik's hand in his. He never knew things would turn out this way. The plans he made ended up digging the grave for him only. The thing he most regretted was not discussing the matter with others. He did everything thinking that was right.
