Airplanes- Freed x Mirajane

This is based on the song Airplanes by B.o.B- it reminds me of my favorite Fairy Tail ship: Freed x Mirajane! Dedicated to Rinny cuz Freed is awesome!

      Freed fidgeted in his seat. He had never been so nervous. The restaurant was beautiful, but would Mirajane like it? Is she even coming? He sighed and checked the time. She was supposed to be here about ten minutes ago.She blew me off. I know it, he thought.

"Freed!" Mirajane exclaimed from the door.Freed breathed a sigh of relief and waved at her. She hurried to sit down across him.

"Hi, Freed! Oh, this place is so beautiful! I love those lights!" she said pointing at a string of lights on the ceiling.

"They're very nice." he replied.

"Sure are," she looked at him closer, "Are you okay?"

"Of course," he whispered.

"Okay, because, well, you're blushing," she smiled softly.

"Am I?" he asked.

She nodded. "It's cute, though."

He looked down. "I've never been on a date with someone as amazing as you."

She stared at him.

"Please stop staring at me. You're making me more nervous than I already am," he muttered.

"It's just...no one's ever said that to me," she blushed.

He looked up into her eyes and got up. "I'm sorry. I'll be right back."

Freed hurried towards the staircase.

Mirajane followed him.

Freed gripped the balcony rail and stared out to the night sky. I'm ruining it,' he thought ,Why did I even ask her?

"What's wrong?" he heard her voice behind him. Freed didn't turn around.

"N-nothing," he mumbled.

Mirajane walked up next to him, and they stared at the night sky together.

"Look," she whispered and pointed out in the distance. Freed saw a star.. or a plane. It was Blue Pegasus' Magic Bomber, the Christina.

"Can we...pretend that airplanes are shooting stars? I know it's stupid, but I could really use a wish right now," she said quietly.

"Of course. I have a wish, too."

"What's yours?" she asked him.

"You first," he replied.

Mira sighed. "That...maybe..you would kiss me." Immediately, she blushed.

"That's my wish, too." he whispered. Mira stared into his eyes, and slowly, they leaned closer to each other and the gap between their lips closed. After a moment, hey pulled away slightly.

"I love you, Mirajane," he whispered.

"I love you, too," she whispered back. "I guess our wishes came true," she smiled.
