I remember the day at the beach
it was sunny and windy
at the same time

I remember the day at the beach
when you held me so close
till I could hear your heartbeats pounding in my ears
and the sparkles in your eyes
you were so alive

I remember the day at the beach
when you held me so close
till I could see those water droplets adorning the curtains of your eyelashes
They shone bright like royal diamonds
and
the sand glued on your moist skin
every single one looked like pearls
accented your gorgeous skin

I remember the day at the beach
when you came out of the sea
looking like a young Poseidon himself
and all his gloriousness
the view nearly drove me blind
you're so radiant, too radiant

I remember the day at the beach
the flawless laugh of yours
oh, they were music to my ears
and I could never get enough of them

I remember the day at the beach
the flexed muscles of your arms
when you lifted that shirt of yours
and I was thrilled by that tiny action
you truly took my heart away

I remember the day at the beach
the blazing heat from your luscious lips
when they touched my ear, neck and forehead
they left a trail of fire sensation
I was lucky they didn't drive me mad
oh, I was so lovesick
and all I could think was
how good they looked on my goosebumps littered skin

That day at the beach was too surreal
the words to describe my feelings
had not been created
I was so lovesick
till I almost forgot that I was
ephemeral.
