I was Meant for You

Chapter 1

It was Olivia Benson's first day on the job and she had already seen her first dead body. It was already taking its toll on her when her partner, Elliott Stabler, came to her side to comfort her. He was trying his hardest to talk smoothly to her as much as he could without losing it too. "Olivia" Elliott started to say, "Olivia, I'm sorry you had to see that. It was awful and I know it's only your first day. You'll learn to get used to it thought." He said putting a false smirk on his face trying to assure her that it would get better. It took her a moment to try and face him but turned to see that he was no longer lingering in the room. "I sure hope so" she thought as she got up to leave for the day.

*FLASHBACK*

Olivia had just walked in to her very first victim's house only to notice that there was blood everywhere. There was a trail of blood along the floor that looked as if the victim had been dragged. She and her partner quickly followed the trail of blood that eventually lead them to the basement to where the, looked to be 12 year old, girl had been dragged and chained along the wall. Olivia was shocked to see this on her very first day on the job, she even let it get to her as she seen the lifeless girl who had been slaughtered, stripped, and raped, lying against the wall.
"Oh my God" Olivia said as a single tear started to trail down her face. "Who in their right mind would do such a thing?! Elliott, we have to find whoever did this to her!" She looked over at Elliott and, to her surprise, he looked as if he were gonna lose it too.

* END OF FLASHBACK*

Olivia had just walked into her apartment and was headed for the kitchen to get something to eat when their was a knock on her door. She ran to see who it was, looking through the peephole she felt a smile creep on her face. She opened the door to let her partner in.

"Elliott" she asked happy to see yet concerned on why he was at her apartment. "Elliott, what are you doing here?" She began to walk back to her kitchen and noticed that he was as well.
"I just wanted to make sure that you were doing okay. You were taking that case a little hard." He said as he watched her every move. "Was it someone you knew?" He continued. She began to feel a little uncomfortable considering the fact that she had just met this man and he was already in her home and trying to get her to open up to him. "No" she eventually admitted and getting ready to say her 2 famous words that Elliott would soon come to memorize. "I'm fine." She said and stopped what she was doing to breath not realizing that she had been holding it in.

Elliott began to realize that she was growing uncomfortable and so he stopped asking questions. "Alright, I just wanted to make sure that you were okay." He said as he started to make his way to the door. "Wait!!" Olivia yelled before he walked out of her apartment. "I um.. I was just about to eat. You hungry?" With a smile on his face Elliott closed the door and asked "What'd ya got?" And with that Olivia had grabbed a menu and started naming off stuff to order.

"Pizza sounds great!" He said as he sat down on her couch. "What do you like?" She asked. "I'll eat anything." He said with a smile on his face. She ordered their pizza and began walking into her living room. "Hope you like red wine!" Olivia stated as sat down on her couch with a bottle of red wine and 2 glasses.
