I was Meant for You

Chapter 2

Olivia turned on a movie and poured the wine into the glasses when Elliott's phone went off. "Stabler" he began not caring to look at the caller ID. "Alright, thanks cap." Olivia looked at him in concern and asked "what did he want?" "Well he told me to let you know that we have tomorrow off. He noticed that the case was taking a tole on you and wanted you to rest it off since it was your first case." Olivia felt embarrassed knowing that the squad knew that the case had gotten to her.

10 minutes into the movie the bottle of wine was almost empty and a tipsy Elliott began to get a little braver by the minute. He moved over to limiting the distance between him and Olivia. She began to notice him getting a little braver and, to be honest, she didn't mind. She had to admit that she had feelings for him even though they just met and she wouldn't mind it if he kept getting braver and braver by the seconds. Elliott looked at her in the eyes and lost himself completely, he hadn't realized how beautiful that she actually was until this moment and, begin a normal tipsy person, he began to lean in towards her and noticed that she herself were getting closer.

They were centimeters away from each other when there was a knock at her door that made both of them jump. Olivia stood up smoothing down her clothes and walking to the door. She opened it smiling and thanking the guy and paying him as he handed her the pizza. "Pizza is here if your ready to eat." She says making her way into the kitchen. "Duh, I'm starving and that pizza smells a.maze.ing!!!" He says causing them both to laugh.

They continued watching the movie and eating pizza while drinking water to sober up. "I'm sorry Liv." Elliott said looking at her. "For what? You didn't do anything El?" she says facing him as she speaks. "I was...we were drunk and I almost kissed you. I mean we just met today and I don't want to ruin the friendship that has started. Not saying that I don't want to kiss you, cause I would in a heartbeat but Olivia, your gorgeous, brave, strong, sweet, and caring,"He began taking in some air "and I just want to get to know you better before anything happens between us because I don't wanna hurt you or make you not trust me." He said letting out the air he had taken in. She looked at him with tears in her eyes and said "El that was so sweet and I appreciate that you wanna get to know me before anything happens. Because I really want something to happen between us El!" A few tears fell down her face as she finished her last sentence. "Me too Liv" he said smiling and kissing her forehead and wiping the tears from her face with his thumb.
