[OUTSIDE STARK TOWER-DAYTIME]
Natasha walks up to the CMS machine. Selvig, slumped down, weakened from Loki's mind control looks at her desperately. The Tesseract's energy is firing towards the portal, gaining strength.
Natasha: Doctor.
Selvig: Loki's scepter, the energy..the Tesseract can't fight. You can't protect against yourself.
Natasha: It's not your fault, You didn't know what you were doing.
Selvig: Well, actually I think I did. I built in a safety to cut the power source.
Natasha: Loki's scepter.
Selvig: It might be able to close the portal. (Looks down and sees a gold gleam) And I'm looking right at it.
Thor rides on top of the chariot, smacking several riders with his hammer. As Thor takes the reins, a Chitauri leviathan crashes through a building, knocking him down to where Steve is fighting off soldiers. Tony flies right next to the Chitauri leviathan and aims his laser booster at it. It does nothing to the giant leviathan.
"With all your effort nothing seems to work. With being magic myself, maybe I should..." Dumbledore started with a twinkle in his eye.
"Not gonna happen Gandalf." Skyla and Tony say with an eye roll causing the Avengers to snicker.
"You don't have to be rude. He was just saying..." Lily started with a glare.
"The Tesseract is where it needs to be." Loki deadpanned, "It's in the proper hands. We wouldn't trust you people with it even if you do have magic."
The Avengers nodded their heads, while some of the witches and wizards looked offended. Others seem to understand the Avengers distrust towards them, for they too have seen the greedy looks in Dumbledore and the light side's eyes.
[INSIDE TONY'S SUIT]
JARVIS: Sir, we will lose power before you can cut through that shell.
Tony flies up ahead, facing the incoming monster.
Tony: JARVIS. You ever hear the tale of Jonah?
JARVIS: I wouldn't consider him a role model.
Tony flies towards the Chitauri leviathan, unleashing every arsenal on the suit. The leviathan opens its mouth and Tony flies in, and bust out the other end making the Chitauri leviathan collapse.
Tony rolls down the street. The wind is knocked out of him. He looks up with an overwhelming sigh. A small band of Chitauri soldiers rush towards him, holding out their rifles.
[BUILDING ROOFTOP-DAYTIME]
Clint turns to fire his last arrow. Using his bow as a staff, he knocks some Chitauri soldiers down, before yanking his last arrow off the dead body of a Chitauri soldier. Clint knocks his arrow, dives down the building and fires his grappling arrow up into the side of the building. Falling down, Clint finds the momentum and swings himself into a building and cannon balls in.
