"So today is the day" says the voice inside your head as you open your eyes. Thinking about it brings a smile to your face. Groaning a bit as you roll over to see the light shining through the window. Oh that feeling we have all had, "just 5 more minutes mom". It feels like it takes every muscle in your body just to roll out of bed. Feet searching for the floor as if it were the very first time.

Dragging what feels to be a lifeless body towards the toilet room just to stare in a mirror again as you do every morning before splashing cold water on your face and washing the night out of your mouth.

Rushing through a partial breakfast and fumbling through every article of clothing in the house before you can decide on the perfect outfit to wear.

"You're going to be late" says that voice again as you're scrambling to lock the door on your way out.

Downtown traffic is always horrible at this time, and you can never seem to get there fast enough to satisfy yourself. But then again you are the boss and nothing can get started until you arrive.

The same routine as usual for the first few hours before you run out for a quick bite and then nod off at your desk.
A knock on the door startles you to your feet.

"Yes, what is it?" you mutter to the person who just woke you.

"It's Carla Sir" says the soft sweet voice of your secretary.
She's a quiet girl that keeps to herself mostly and does an excellent job of keeping you and your office in order.

"Come in Carla, I apologize, what can I do for you?"

"It's Michael Sir, he said for you to meet him down stairs at the car."

"Thank You Carla, please close the door behind you"

What was that? You can't be sleeping in the middle of the day.
As you slump back into your office sofa that you don't even recall lying down on. Perhaps the days work has had more of an effect on you than you realize.

Or maybe the evenings anticipation is draining you.
Whatever the case, Michael is waiting and he doesn't like to.

Off to more work. "No rest for the wicked." You say to yourself out loud as you head out for the elevator, not forgetting your phone and jacket.
