Teen Titans OVC: "Conan aka Carnage, Child Version"

This is my original villain character for the Teen Titans series, Conan. His public title is Carnage.

As you can see in this picture, Conan suffered from a tragic and gut-wrenching life. He is a metahuman with the ability to blood bend but his powers comes with a troublesome price. He must use his own blood to form weapons and attack but, once his powers are deactivated, his blood does not return to his body. Thus, he is left extremely weakened. This would also explain his pale complexion.

Conan was born in Crumlin, Northern Ireland and his Irish accent is really thick. At the tender age of four,little Conan was eating an ice cream cone at the park while sitting on a bench; his parents a fair distance away. All in one instant, he is struck across the head. As he fades into unconsciousness, he can hear his parents screaming out to him as he is lifted off the ground by an unknown stranger.

He wakes up to find himself in a hidden building. It was a facility for child sex slave trafficking. He spends the next eighteen months there before he is bought by a customer in the United States. When the buyer attempts to rape Conan, the boy snaps and activates his abilities for the first time; literally tearing the man to pieces with blood blades. Due to immense blood loss, Conan faints.

He is now in a hospital. Conan's mind is awake but his body is still too tired to move; so it appears as if he's still asleep. He listens to a pair of doctors conversing over him and is confused when they complain about being unable to find a blood type that won't be rejected by his body. They say the boy should be dying at this rate but are even more baffled at the fact that he's recovering without a blood transfusion.

A while after the doctor's leave, Conan finally opens his eyes and takes in his surroundings. He sits up as an officer walks in and sadly, yet gently, informs Conan that his parents recently died. After trying yet failing for nearly two years to find him, the parents were no longer able to stand the grief and committed mutual suicide. Before the cop could continue, Conan's powers flared in despair, lashed out at the police officer and destroyed the hospital room. Conan made a quick escape.

He lived in the streets for a while; struggling to properly care for himself until he is taken in by Slade. Slade was interested by Conan's power (he didn't know about the power's disadvantage yet) and decided to take him in as his very first apprentice. However, Slade soon realized the consequences of Conan using his powers and dropped him; leaving the irish boy (now a teen at this point) alone once again.

However, using what he learned from Slade, Conan slowly builds an underground gang of his own and gains connections with criminals. He soon runs into Jinx and her younger brother, Adinda (another original character I made up) who were runaways from home. Conan, who instantly felt a strange and demented connection with Jinx, took her and Adinda into his care. From there, he manages to smuggle/enroll Jinx into H.I.V.E. Academy and forged U.S. Citizenship for her and Adinda.

Grateful for the help, Jinx pledges to always work under Conan and remain a loyal friend. Although Conan has severe emotional issues, he is secretly and deeply dependent of Jinx's friendship. All in all, she is all he has now. Sadly though, her companionship will not be enough to save his decaying sanity.
