Flopping down on their beds, Yunalesca and Sinbad heave a long and tired sigh. "Oh my, what's this?" Rurumu smiles as she looks up from her paperwork. It's been a full week since the crews returned to Reim, and although Sinbad and Yunalesca could handle the story sales, merchandise was an entirely different thing.
"I don't know how you do it, Miss Rurumu. But I'm utterly beat." Yunalesca groans into her bedding. "Same. And with the performances still going strong, it's twice the workload." Sinbad adds as he rolls onto his back. "Make that three times the workload if you add babysitting. " Yunalesca corrects him, raising her hand and pointing at him. Suppressing her laughter, Rurumu just smiles at the two people in front of her. "They've grown so much in just a few months." She couldn't help but feel pride.

"It's super quiet today." Yunalesca says after a few seconds of silence. Propping herself up on her elbows, she looks at Rurumu. "Where is everyone?"
"The men are busy with cargo. We have to ready the ship to go back to Imuchakk, and Ja'far took his baby brother for a walk. Those two really are inseparable." Rurumu smiles, her one hand on her cheek. "Yeah..." Yunalesca glances at Sinbad, both of them recalling the first time they had to babysit.

Turning away, Yunalesca watched the golden glow of the midday sun filter through the window. Though Reim had fair weather, summer was coming to an end, and the air had cooled down significantly. "A stoll does sound lovely right now." Yunalesca says, resting her arms on the windowsill. Closing her eyes, she readies herself for a short nap, the afternoon sun warm on her skin, but the sudden crack of lightning jolts her awake. "Thunder?" Yunalesca frowns, staring out of the window. In the distance, she could see smoke rising from the forest. "That was Baals' power." Sinbad says, a deep frown on his face. He felt it surge through him the moment the lightning struck. "What?" Yunalesca turns to Sinbad, his hand on his sword.  "Ja'far and Kikiriku are out there." Rurumu says, her hands trembling slightly. She had a look on her face that neither Sinbad or Yunalesca had ever seen before. "Let's go!" Yunalesca jumps off of her bed and pulls her sandles on. Closing the door behind them, she follows Sinbad and Rurumu as they sprint down the hallway and to the forest.

Running through the undergrowth of the forest, Yunalesca scans her surroundings. "I'm pretty sure it was around here somewhere..." She thinks, slowing down to a walk to catch her breath.  "Over here! I found Kikiriku!" Sinbad shouts from a few feet away, his voice a little breathy.
Rushing through the trees, Yunalesca finds a crying Kikiriku clinging onto Rurumu, his mother's hand softly stroking his head.
"Where's Ja'far?" Yunalesca asks, frantically looking around the area. Squirming in Rurumus arms, Kikiriku points to a clearing in the trees. "Kikiriku?" Rurumu sets her son down, allowing him to lead them to the clearing.

"What the..." Yunalesca stood at the edge of the clearing, completely stunned. In front of her was a huge ape-like beast, dead. "It's hairs all fizzled... did the lightning kill it?" Yunales walks closer to inspect the creature. When she rounds its huge head, she sees Ja'far laying motionless a few steps away. His clothes and face were covered in blood and dirt. "Ja'far!" Sinbad rushed toward his friend, followed by Rurumu and Yunalesca.
"Hey! Ja'far! Are you okay?" Sinbad calls to his friend, gently cradling him in his arms. After a few more seconds of silence, Ja'fars eyes slowly blinked open. "Sin?" The boy looks up at Sinbad, his eyes skimming over the rest of the group. "What's everyone doing  here?"

Seeing Ja'far sit up, the whole group breathed a sigh of relief. "We saw a huge bolt of lightning and came to look for you guys." Yunalesca explains, holding onto Kikiriku. "What happened here, Ja'far." Rurumu asks, her voice soft with concern. "We were attacked by that thing, and then my darts started to shine. The next thing I knew, there was lightning." Ja'far explains, looking down at his darts. "Shine, huh?" Sinbad asks, peeking over Ja'fars shoulder. Sure enough, the darts were emitting a faint blue glow, like that of charged lightning. Unsheathing his sword, Sinbad holds it close to the darts. When the two weapons were almost touching, both began to glow more intensely.
"Whoah! They look like my sword!" Sinbad remarks, recognising the distinct blue glow.

Staring at the darts, Rurumu furrows her brows. "What is is Miss Rurumu" Yunalesca asks, seeing her mentor so perplexed. "I don't know much about djins, but did Baals power grant Ja'fars weapon some sort of power? There's still so much we dont know about the djins..." She says, her hand on her chin.
Looking between the sword and the darts, Yunalesca tilts her head. "That... actually makes sense." Yunalesca agrees, a vague sense of familiarity washing over her as she looked at the weapons.
"Baals sword..." Sinbad face was blank as he inspected at his sword. His gaze shifted to Ja'far, who looked just as dumbstruck as he was. "Granted my weapons power..." Ja'far finished the sentence as he turned to Sinbad. The two boys stared at each other for a moment before their faces lit up with great elation.
"That's so cool! So djins can do this too!" Sinbad exclaimed, his sudden outburst startling Yunalesca and Rurumu. "And hey! If I'm the first dungeon conqueror, then that makes you the first djin warrior!" Sinbad grabs Ja'far by his shoulders. As if the gesture transferred all of Sinbads' excitement to Ja'far, the boys' face twisted with glee. "Yeah! I feel we can acomplish anything with this power!"

Watching the two in front of her, Yunalesca could help but smile. "They're something else I tell you." She sighed, patting Kikiriku on his head as she watched Sinbad and Ja'far shake and push each other.
"That's great and all, but we have to tend to your wounds, Ja'far." Rurumu's interrupts the groups antics. "Right." Setting Kikiriku down, Yunalesca moves closer to Ja'far, inspecting his wounds closely. Gently touching the gashes on the boys head and arms, Yunalescs heart falters. "I dont know how to treat these..." She realised. Turning to Rurumu, Yunalesca felt dejection sting at her chest.

Crawling to Ja'far, Kikiriku grabs hold of the boys' bloodied shirt and, without warning, begins to bawl, startling everyone. "Aww, so you were worried as well. That's a good little brother." Sinbad says as he sits back, leaving Ja'far to fend the baby off on his own. "He's in no way good!" Ja'far growls as Kikiriku clings to his arm.
