(Unfortunately I am not rock Riordan :( this is my first fanfic plz go easy)
Percy POV
"Percy time to wake up," his mom shouted through his bedroom door, "you don't want to miss the first day of school." I groaned and got up to have a shower. I missed camp. I hadn't got to go over the summer and now it had been over a year since I had gone and about 7 months since I saw Annabeth my girlfriend. I really miss her. She lives in San Francisco with her dad and stepmom and I hadn't been able to see her for ages. I got out the shower and went to get dressed throwing on a dark green top, some jeans and my sneakers. Just as I was packing my bag a rainbow appeared in front of me. I dropped the algebra book I was holding and let back startled. That's when I realised it was an IM (Iris Message) accepting the call I saw the one person I missed the most.
"Annie" I exclaimed "I miss you soo much why have you not called me sooner?"
"Percy I have great news" she answered.
"What?"
"I got a scholarship in a school in New York. I get to come see you!" She announced with a big grin on her face.
"That's brilliant! I can't wait to see you. What school are you going to?" He asked
"I can't remember" Annabeth lied. She knew exactly what school she was going to. She just wanted to surprise him.
"I got to go now Annie bit I'll see you when you get here. Love you Wise Girl"
"Love you to Seaweed Brain."
With that the image faded away and Percy realised how late he was. Rushing off to school he grabbed his bag and drove off to school.
