(Do I look like rick Riordan?)

Alex POV

Where was Percy it was break and he still hadn't got here. She was glancing around looking for someone with black hair and green eyes but she didn't notice him. Next to her sat her two other best friends George and Jake. George was quite quiet but had a brilliant mind he was the best swimmer ( apart from Percy) she knew and was proud to call him her twin brother he had pale blue eyes just like me and chocolate brown hair. Luke was almost the complete opposite of George so how they were such good friends she didn't know. He was a green eyed blonde haired troublemaker and could barely go a week without a detention. George noticing the look in my eye, calmly said

"He'll be here soon he wouldn't miss a chance to show off during Ancient Greek class." I knew he was right he was probably just late. As if on cue he came walking towards us. Before I could speak he said,

"I was late I overslept Mrs Parker in the office seemed to enjoy shouting at me." "See" George said "in in time for Greek." We all started laughing but that was soon disrupted by the shrill voice of Ashley Brookes.

"Percy" she shouted "I missed you in history" she purred. "Hey I was wondering would you like to go out with me after school." She was just as shallow as everyone else she had a crush on him because of his good looks (I don't have a crush on him he's like a second brother to me.)

"I'm sorry I can't I have a girlfriend." He casually replied.

"Oh" she sulked off leaving us in peace.

Once she was out of sight I turned to Percy ", that was quick thinking making up you had a girlfriend."

"But I really do have a girlfriend" he retorted.

"Yeah sure" Jake said ",and I have a million dollars."

"It's true her name is Annabeth Chase and I met her at a camp." He said I could see he was hurt but apparently Jake didn't notice this.

"Tell this imaginary girlfriend to come meet us then I'll believe you" he laughed.

"I can't she lives in San Francisco."

"How sadly convenient."

The bell the sounded and we all headed separate ways for our elective class.
