The nausea hit (Y/N) like a rogue wave, pulling her under just as she was reaching for her tiara. She barely made it to the ornate porcelain bowl before the contents of her stomach decided to make a reappearance. (Y/N) clutched the pregnancy test that she bought from the drug store, praying she wasn't pregnant. After 5 minutes, the test came out positive. Afterward, she sank back against the cool marble tiles, breathing heavily.
"Morning sickness," she muttered to herself, the realization dawning slowly.
A tiny life, a miniature king or queen, was taking root within her. A wave of exhaustion washed over her, quickly followed by a surge of pure joy. She and Percy were going to be parents.
She glanced at the intricate clock on the wall. Barely six in the morning. The wedding was today. Will and Nico's wedding. And she, the Queen of Atlanta, was currently sprawled on the floor of her lavish bathroom, contemplating the momentous occasion of becoming a mother.
Percy padded into the bathroom, his sea-green eyes filled with concern.
"Are you alright, (Y/N)? I heard..." He trailed off, understanding dawning on his face as he took in her pale complexion and disheveled state.
He knelt beside her, his hand gently brushing a stray strand of hair from her face. "You're pregnant?"
She nodded, a watery smile gracing her lips. "I think so. This... this pretty much confirms it."
Percy's face broke into a wide grin. He scooped her up in his arms, ignoring her protests about ruining his perfectly pressed suit. "That's amazing, (Y/N)! We're going to have a baby!"
He spun her around before finally setting her down, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "We should tell everyone! Imagine Will and Nico's faces!"
(Y/N) chuckled. "As tempting as that is, Seaweed Brain, maybe we hold off until after the vows? Let's not steal their thunder. Besides," she added, placing a hand on her still-flat stomach, "I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to get through a royal wedding with this little one brewing inside me."

The palace was a whirlwind of activity. Servants bustled through the halls, carrying bouquets of sun-yellow roses and obsidian orchids – a perfect blend of Will and Nico's aesthetics. Diplomats from neighboring kingdoms and even a few curious kings and queens mingled in the grand ballroom, a heady mix of silks, jewels, and divine auras. (Y/N), despite her morning sickness-induced weakness, had to be the perfect Queen, the perfect sister, the perfect hostess.
The dress she had chosen for the occasion, a flowing gown of shimmering aquamarine silk, felt constricting. The intricate embroidery, depicting scenes from Atlantean mythology, seemed heavy. Even her tiara, usually a comforting weight, felt like it was pressing against her temples.
She found Percy near a fountain filled with glowing orbs of water, deep in conversation with Poseidon. Her father-in-law's eyes crinkled at the corners as he saw her approaching.
"Ah, (Y/N)! You look radiant, as always," Poseidon boomed, his voice a comforting rumble. "And congratulations are in order, I hear." He winked, sending a surge of oceanic power through her, a gesture of blessing and protection for her unborn child.
(Y/N) squeezed Percy's hand, "Thank you, Uncle Poseidon."
The ceremony was held in the Sun Kingdom's capital, Helios. The city was a breathtaking spectacle of gold and white, bathed in the perpetual glow of Apollo's blessing. The wedding altar was situated in a vast, open courtyard, surrounded by towering sunflowers that seemed to lean in, as if trying to catch a glimpse of the happy couple.
