Hey guys! Thank you for reading another one of my lovely chapters! Please enjoy!

I took in the abundance of aromas that were flooding into the streets, from the shops. Fresh baked dough, muffins, apple pie, some of the sweetest stuff in the realm. It smelled delicious!

I loved going into town, the people are so nice and happy, the foods delicious, and the birds are always chirping! It could really brighten a person's day.

I felt a tap on my shoulder, "Hello dearie,"I turned to the voice and saw a young woman with a tray in her hand, "may I interest you in some of our bakery's finest bread?"

She held out the tray, and I took a slice of the sweet smelling bread, and smiled, "Thank you!" I nibbled at the crust, savoring every bit of it, "hmmmm, this is delicious!"

The woman smiled and turned to her left, greeting more people with heaven on a tray.

I continued walking down the brick path, that led through the town. Grabbing more and more samples off of giving trays. Everything was soooo delicious!

I stuffed some of my goods into my satchel, filling it to the top, until I couldn't put in any more.

Before looking up, I started to walk forward, running into someone.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" I looked up to see who I ran into, and was surprised. It was a man with dark hair, and blue eyes that shone bright because of his dark features. He was wearing a long leather coat, with sleeves that draped over his... Hand? He only had one hand, and a hook that replaced the other. A hook... "Captain Hook."

The man looked confused, "Have we met before? Because I think I would have remembered meeting you, love." And there it was, that signature smirk, confirming my suspicions.

"I would never cross paths with a... Pirate." I emphasized that last word, "especially one as dastardly as you. Captain Hook."

He took a step closer to me, forcing me to take a step back, "Dastardly? Is that what they're calling me these days? Because I quite prefer dashing." He raised his eyebrow, widening his smirk.

I scoffed, disgusted, "As much as I would love to stay and chat, I must be going now." I turned around, starting to return to my steed, when I felt a cold metal on my arm, pulling me back.

"Leaving so soon, love? Are you sure you don't have a few minutes to..." He stepped even closer to me, "Talk?"

"Captain," I looked up at him, smiling, "If you don't get your hook off of my arm, then you'll need another replacement for your right hand."

The pirate tilted his head and smiled, "As you wish, M'lady." He let go of me, and I started toward my horse once again.

Hook's POV~~~~~~

"As you wish, M'lady." I let go of the woman, and she started walking back to where she came from. She was beautiful, unlike any other woman I've ever met. She had the prettiest green eyes, and the silkiest blond hair, something I would have loved to run my fingers through... I almost felt bad for taking her satchel. Almost.

Now, let's see what precious things she had in here. I started walking back to my ship, going through her mostly useless stuff. It was mainly just piled with bread, but... there was a diamond in the rough. I came upon an invitation to a royal ball.

Why the bloody hell would a peasant have an invitation to an event as important as this one? At least, I think she was a peasant, she most definitely dressed the part. But perhaps she was more... perhaps she had more. Maybe I should go to this ball, and find out for myself.

Emma's POV~~~~~

That damn pirate stole my bag.

I knew something felt off about him, besides the fact that he was a one handed pirate. I've heard stories about him, awful stories. He's just another ruthless pirate that will stop at nothing to get what he wants, someone that we will have to watch out for. Well, someone that I'll watch out for.

My satchel didn't really mean a whole lot to me, but it was a good enough reason to hunt down this pirate.
