[Liam POV]

The girl named, Betty ushered us into the mansion and I was awed by the interior design of it. It is absolutely stunning.

“Where’s everyone? The house seems quiet.” Ayden asked Betty.

“They are probably in their room, sir. However, madam asked you and Mr. Braun to take a rest first and meet them at dinner.” Betty answered.

“Alright, then.” Ayden replies monotonously before he turned to talk to me. “Let’s wash up and have a quick rest before dinner.”

I pulled a small smile and replied, “Okay, my love.”

As usual, Ayden would be annoyed being called like that. But, there’s someone who was smiling sheepishly upon hearing me calling Ayden sweetly, and that person is Betty.

“Betty. What are you doing smiling like that?” Ayden asked Betty out of annoyance (probably more likely getting shy).

Betty was caught off guard and she nervously replies, “Nothing, sir. Nothing at all. If there’s anything else, I would like to excuse myself.”

Ayden just replied with an ‘Okay’.

Betty had taken two steps away from us when she turned her back again facing us before saying, “Sir, dinner will be ready in an hour.”

I gestured an ‘Okay’ towards her and Ayden just nodded once before she left us.

[Ayden POV]

As per informed by Betty just now, the dinner will be served after an hour.

Hence, after I brought Liam to take a rest in my room, both of us came down to the dining room to meet with the rest of my family members.

We were the last person coming into the dining room, while everyone was already waiting for us at the table.

“Oh! There they are.” Dad was the first person to greet us. And, I walked closer to my dad before hugging him from the side.

“Good to see you, dad.” I said to him before I unwrapped my arms from him.

He smiled at me and replied, “Good to see you too, son.”

And then, I went to take a seat on dad’s left side, since mother already took the seat on dad’s other side. I took a peek at Liam who was already standing at the seat next to mine.

He looks nervous.

I have never seen this side of him before. Usually he is the life of the party, being talkative and fun. But now, I felt like laughing when I saw his pale face.

Should I help him or should I just ignore him? Hahaha.

“Alright. Since, everyone is here…I would like to introduce my fiancé.” I spoke to crack the silence in the room.

“It’s like a déjà vu, isn’t it? It seems like, the same scene had repeated. And, Ayden was telling the same script too. How funny…” Abby insinuated.

“Abby! Stop it! You’re being rude.” Seph reminded Abby of her bad attitude.

“What?! Am I wrong? It is the truth that Ayden used to bring his fiancé over before, but it was another guy. And now, we all gather here again…and AGAIN, he introduced us to another fiancé of his.” Abby continues while spitting a small chuckle before she added more to the gossip. “My brother is a hot stuff, indeed. Every guy is trying to lay their hand on him.”
