Darkness surrounds me as it continues to fill every corner. Muffled cries echo all over the room, vibrating the walls and floor. Numbness ran over my body as I felt stiff and weak.
Where am I? I thought, hearing my thoughts bouncing around the room. The cries grew louder turning into screams of pain, torture and fear. They shook the room sending me flying around the room like a rag doll. Pain shot through ny stomach and side with every contact to the walls. My body collapsed onto the floor as my eyes began to slowly close...
Bright lights blinded my eyes, as the feeling of vomit clawed up my throat. Beside me, my twin sister China, sat with her knees pulled up into her chest as she rocked back and forth. In her hand, she gripped a knife covered in blood as she shook with tears. I stretched my hand out as best I could to get her attention. In an instant, she collapsed onto my chest, bawling l her eyes out. Just by my feet, lay a body of a young boy that looked around 17. China's leg was gushing blood like my side. Our blood trailed off together, down the stairs; become intertwined in a way we never thought of.
