"Babe I'm okay" Eric says rather annoyed with me.
"I know it's just... I care about you and I don't want you to be upset... because I love my happy Eric" I say embracing him then placing a gentle kiss on his cheek.
Me and Eric have now been dating for a month. He's also been living with me so there isn't much he can really hid from me... like the fact that he keeps having nightmares about his father beating him.
"Come on let's get to school" he says snapping me out of thought. I nod with a smile which he takes the chance to quickly kiss. I chuckle.
We arrive at school and he interlocks our hands.
"Babe?"
He never holds my have at least not at school that is. He's been afraid to after what his parents did and I don't blame him.
"I'm ready" he says with a nervous smile. I nod and we walk in.
As we walk to class we are given looks of confusion, disgust, joy, and many other expressions. I was starting to get worried.
What if this was getting to him. What if someone says something when I'm not there to defend him.
His grip on my hand tightens. I look at him to see that his jaw has even clenched.
This was getting to him. I quickly ran off with him.
"What the hell" he shouts.
"Don't" I say very bluntly.
"Don't what?"
"Don't let this all get to you okay babe."
"It's not, I promise."
"Liar! Don't act like I don't know that you nightmares... don't act like I'm so stupid a ti not know that this is getting to you Eric!"
He groans but then gives me a kiss of true passion. I want to pull away to yell at him for using this a a way to get out of me being mad at him, but I slowly melt into it.
"Fine" I say. He chuckles giving me one last kiss before we go to class.
We walk into class and get the harshest look from Ms. Daniels. She groans.
"Great now we have another one" she growls. Eric holds me back.
"Wait there's a new student" Eric replies being a complete smart ass causing the entire class to burst into laughter.
"Anyways class today I will be handing back your grades for the projects."
"Already know our grade" I mumble under my breath. I hear Eric chuckle.
After class Eric walks me to my next class placing a kiss on my cheek before leaving.
I turn around to see Erin McHale, my best friend making out with Grayson Mathews. I nearly faint. I stand there in awe.
Erin and Gray finally pull apart. She turns to see me. She gives me a smirk.
"And you thought I was being delusional" she snears. We walk into the classroom.
What the hell is happening. Grayson Mathews is dating Erin...... HOW?
