Niall's POV
"Louis's dead again," I said as I came into the cafeteria.
"What has he died of this time?" Harry asked me as he was eating his cereal.
"He fell off London Bridge."
"Wow."
"Fished out by two boat workers."
"People do jump, maybe someone has been found."
"Not Louis though."
"Well then, it's fake news."
"It's interesting to see what they come up with," I said as I put my phone away, knowing full well that Louis was alive.

We finished our breakfast and headed downsides to rehearsals, where the first signs that something was wrong started to appear.
"Where's Louis?' Paul asked us.
"I don't know, he wasn't at breakfast."
"He's probably still in bed," Liam said.
"I'll go and get him."
"Thanks Zayn," Paul said and I went back to practising chords on my guitar.
"I can't find him," Zayn said as he came back into the room.
"What?"
"Louis's not in his hotel room."
"He's not out causing mischief?" I asked.
"Not that I'm aware of," Paul said, and my phone started to ring. I looked down to see that Johannah was calling me. I put my guitar down and picked it up.
"Johannah?" I asked and I felt everyone's eyes turn to me in the room.
"Hi Niall. I haven't been able to get hold of Louis and there's a news report saying that he's been found dead. I just want to make sure that he's ok."
"I'm aware of that article, but we can't find him."
"Seriously?"
"Seriously. We haven't been too worried as you know what Louis's like. But now you've called me, I'm worried."
"Who is it Niall?" Paul asked me.
"Johannah," I told him.
"Is that Paul?" Johannah asked me.
"It is."
"Ok, can you hand me over to him?"
"Sure. Here he is," I said, and I handed Paul the phone.

"Why's Johannah calling you?" Liam asked as the boys crowded round me.
"She can't get hold of Louis."
"Really?"
"Yeah, she just wanted to check that he's ok..."
"But we can't find him."
"I know."
"You don't think that article's..."
"It's not true Harry."
"Louis's not dead, he's just... missing in action."
"He's probably been locked in a room by security or something."
"Let's go and talk to them."
"Ok," I said, and we went outside to interrogate our security. Louis loved getting himself into trouble, but he was big on family and if he wasn't answering calls from his mum, something was wrong.

Lunch

Lunchtime, and there was still no sign of Louis. Our security didn't know anything, and Liam was getting close to calling the coastguard. So far Harry and I had held him off. It was a stupid rumour, of course Louis was ok. He was, he was fine.
"Boys," Paul said as as he came over to us.
"Have you found Louis?" Harry asked him.
"Not yet."
"Shit."
"He's not dead Paul. Tell me he isn't dead."
"I'm 99.9% sure that he's not dead Niall. None saw him last night, but James recalls his bunk curtain being open."
"At what time was this?"
"During the early hours."
"Then he's trapped somewhere, or he's somewhere illegal."
"I've got people searching. He'll be alright boys."
"You have to find him Paul. He can't be dead."
"Don't worry. We'll find him."
"Is there anywhere we can look?"
"Yes. Liam, can you look where you and Louis would usually cause chaos?"
"Sure," Liam said, and Harry and I followed him as he headed off.

Found

"There!" Liam called out as we were walking to the stadium. Harry and I looked up and we saw Louis's shoe sticking out at the edge of the roof.

We ran up the stairs before we reached a fire exit and Liam hastily opened it. Louis was slumped against the wall beside the fire exit, and Harry went to him.
"Louis, can you hear me?" Harry asked as he touched his cheek.
"Cold..." Louis said faintly.
"He's freezing. Has anyone got a blanket?" Harry asked, knowing full well that we didn't have one.
"Not here Harry," I told him.
"Talk to me boys," Paul said as he arrived.
"Louis's cold and he's barely with it."
"Ok. It looks like he hit his head," Paul said as he inspected Louis. "Let's get him somewhere warm," Paul said and he picked Louis up.
