"Here we are" Nash said pulling into a parking space. "Thanks bro" Hayes said getting out of the car. He walks over as I'm about to get out of the car he opens my door for me. "Thanks" I say sliding out of the car. "Bye Nash" I say waving bye. "Byeee" he says dragging out the word. I close the door and we walk to the building."wait outside please the destination is still a secret" Hayes says."Really" I say giving him a look."Yes" he says giving me the look back. I just laugh and say"fine". He walks inside and goes to get our tickets. A couple of minuets later he walks out holding two tickets but quickly puts them in his pocket so I can't see. "Let's go sit" he says walking towards one of the benches. I walk over and sit down next to him. I was about to start a conversation with him but I see a bus pull up and Hayes grab my hand and take me to the bus. "Here you go sir" Hayes says handing the man his tickets.
I'm ahead of Hayes so I start walking to the very back. I guess Hayes didn't get the memo though because he sat down in the middle section of the bus. "Wait no come let's sit in the back" I say pulling on his arm. "Fine" he says getting up and following me to the very last seat. "Soooo can you tell me where we're going please" I say giving him puppy dog eyes. "New York" he says smiling widely. "YAY" I say a little too loud causing everyone to stare at me. "Oops" I say my face turning red. Hayes just busts out laughing. His laugh is so cute. Wait what no stop it Karis you can't fall for him he doesn't like you. You'll just get your heart broken even more than it already is. "Hey are you okay" Hayes says drawing me out of my thoughts. "Oh, yeah I was just thinking" I say. "How long is the ride" I ask. "Two hours" Hayes says. "Oh wow" I say. You know what I'm just gonna take a nap so it goes by faster. I lay my head against the window and close my eyes not wanting to bother Hayes. Every little bump the bus hits is making my head hit the window slightly." That cannot be comfortable at all just rest your head on my lap" he says pulling the arm rest up so I can lay down. "Thanks" I say smiling at him. I lay down and drift of to sleep.
*2 hours later*
"Karis, Karis wake up" Hayes says brushing my hair out of my face. "Hmm" I mumble fluttering my eyes open. I then sit up in my seat. "We're here" Hayes says grabbing my hand sending chills down my spine from his touch. We get out of the bus station and instantly the smell of NYC hits my nose. I just smile. I know it smells really gross but It doesn't really bother me. "Oh my gosh Hayes this is so amazing thank you so much" I say hugging him tightly. "No problem I wanted to. Anything for my babygirl" he says beginning to turn a deep red realizing what he just said."Sorry" he says blushing even harder."Nah I like it" I say looking up at him as we walk down the sidewalk."oh you do now. I'm gonna have to call you that from now on"he says. I just laugh." So do we have a destination or are we just walking around the city just doing whatever we feel like" I ask being genuinely curious. "Actually I have diner reservations for us" he says flashy his famous smile at me."Speaking of diner reservations here we are" he says holding the door open for me."thank you" I say walking in."Do you have diner reservations" the guy at the desk says. He looks about our age. Has light brown hair styled up like Justin Bieber's and he has hazel eyes. I could tell he was checking me out. "Yeah under Grier" Hayes says noticing the guy checking me out and wraps an arm protectively around my waist pulling me closer to him. Alright right this way he says guiding us to our table. "I will also be your server today what would you two like to start of to drink" the guys says. I look over to see his name tag to see it says Cameron. I'll have a water please. I say giving him a small smile so I don't seem rude. " I'll have a coke" Hayes says. Looking back at Cameron. "I'll be right back with your drinks" Cameron says smirking at me. "What was that for back there" I ask. " Awww is little Hayesy wasey jealous" I say in the voice you make when you talk to a baby or a puppy." *pff* no I just don't like the look of him, you never know with people in New York" Hayes says. "Whatever you say Hayes" I say smiling at him adding a small chuckle at the end. Cameron comes back to give us our drinks and then we order and all that junk and eat. An hour later when we're done eating we get our bill. I go to my wallet to pull out my card but Hayes beats me to it. Like always. "That's not fair I feel bad that you already spent the money for us to get here I can at least pay for diner" I say looking into his eyes. " no today is my treat for my babygirl" he says smiling at me. I try to hold a serious face but fail and my lips part into a smile."fine" I say. He's so amazing. I think I'm falling for Hayes Grier. Scratch that I'm in love with Hayes Grier. I just wish he loved me back. This is going to be and great day.
