Slight spoilers if you haven't seen the avengers movies!!!!

Marvel Cinematic Universe, Phase 2

Marvel cinematic universe Phase 2 consists of marvel movies such as Iron Man 3(2013), Thor: The Dark World(2013), Captain America: The Winter Soldier(2014), Guardians of the Galaxy(2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron(2015) and Ant-Man(2015).

The Spider-Man movie franchise is now owned by Marvel Cinematic universe and Sony. This was announced in February, 2015. This means that Spider-Man might possibly be joining the Avengers along with many other superheroes.

Here's a quick review of the Phase 2 Marvel Movies:

Iron Man 3

When Tony Stark's world is torn apart by a formidable terrorist called the Mandarin, he starts an odyssey of rebuilding and retribution.

In my opinion its the best Iron Man movie, but not the best marvel movie. The actor who plays Tony Stark, Robert Downey Jr. Fits the role perfectly as he is similar to Stark, apart from the Iron Man suit of course. I give it 8/10 stars (In my opinion). The movie was very good, but there was no 'wow' sudden death or intense scene, which did let me down. This is the last Iron Man movie.

Thor: The Dark World

When Jane Foster is targeted by the denizens of the dark world Svartalfheim and a mysterious weapon called the Aether, Thor sets out a quest to protect her at all costs.

I loved this movie because of the actors, my favourite male actor is Tom Hiddleston, who played Loki, my favourite villain. I also think Chris Hemsworth is perfect for the role for Thor and no one else could have done a better job. I would give this movie a 8/10 because yes it was very good but it didn't have enough 'wow' either, They kill the bad guy and everyone's all happy. Frigga's death was very sad and I did shed a tear while watching this scene, but overall, it was still enjoyable to watch and very funny.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Steve Rodgers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, AKA Black Widow, to battle a powerful but shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.

This movie was okay, I started to hate how Natasha Romanoff always changed her hair style. I general I don't enjoy Captain America movies as much as other marvel movies. Don't worry I love Chris Evans(Steve Rodgers) and Scarlett Johansson(Natasha Romanoff), but there was again no fatal death. I knew Nick Fury wasn't dead, because he's Nick Fury and he's Epic. Bucky was quite a shock though, I kinda ignored Bucky in the first Captain America movie and I kinda forgot who he was, so when he was revealed I was just like 'Who?' This was before I started obsessing over Marvel so I didn't know much. I would give this a 8.5/10, It's a bit higher than the others because the fight scenes were better and the ending was very good. And it had Chris Evans in it so it had to be good :D

Guardians of the Galaxy

In outer space, Peter Quill , a man taken from Earth as a child, joins up with a rag-tag group of extraterrestrial misfits in order to take down Ronan, a sadistic leader of the alien Kree who seeks an object that could potentially threaten the entire galaxy.

I love this movie, the music had to be one of the best things  and of course Chris Pratt (Peter Quill). I loved all the characters personalities, they were all so different, I love Groot and Rocket. I can't wait for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 even though I already have a theory about what's going to happen. I give this movie a 9/10 because its funny and enjoyable although Groot 'dying' tore me apart, even though he came back to life, kinda.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron

In a world where HYDRA continues to gain power and control, Tony Stark builds an advanced A.I to combat the organization. Plans go awry when the machine becomes self-aware and targets the Avengers.

I was really excited for this movie, I saw it a day after it came out in a cinema with a load of nerds. It was very good, but its hard to remember everything that happened because it was so long ,2h 21m , the producers had to cut the movie down so much because it was orginally over 3 hours long! One of my favourite Female actors is Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlett Witch) So I really enjoyed this. I really liked the suspense, because I read somewhere Hawkeye was going to die and the scenes leading up to the big fight just proved my theory more (him having a wife and children). When Quicksilver dies I was very shocked but not necessarily sad, he wasn't my favourite, but I don't see why the super futuristic skin regeneration machine they used on Hawkeye couldn't heal Quicksilver and I feel really sorry for Scarlett Witch. I would give this movie a 9/10, because the fight scenes were epic and the jokes between the group were hilarious, but it was just too long. I can't wait until I can buy this movie, because there's 30 mins worth of alternate endings and deleted scenes!!!

Ant Man

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats.

This movie has only recently came out so I'm just going to give my rating for those of you who haven't seen it. I give this movie a 7/10.

Interesting Fact:

Each Phase Two movie features at least one character having their hand cut off in homage to The Empire Strikes Back , the second act of the Star Wars saga.
