Cherry walks into the therapist's office. Her therapist smiles at her.
"It's good to see you, Cherry. How are you holding up?"
"I'm doing okay, but always looking over my shoulder."
"It makes sense. You've been through something traumatic. Do you want to tell me how this has affected your relationship with your family and friends?"
Cherry says. "My family abandoned me a while ago, and as for my relationship with Jack? We're trying, but he too is a victim of Dayton."
Kelsey nods. "Do you journal at all?"
"I do write when I can."
"I'm going to give you an assignment. I want you to write down your feelings in a journey, and no one but you gets to read it. "
"I think I can do that."
When Cherry gets home, she checks the mailbox and finds a letter from Dayton.
This isn't over, Cherry. I'm watching you.
Cherry rushes inside and shows the letter to Jack. He calms her down and tells her there's no way Dayton escape and find her.
Years later, Cherry has moved on and is now a published author about her ordeal.
One day, she looks up at a fan who wants her autograph. He looks just like Dayton. Cherry shudders, signs the book, and drives home to Jack.
