"I have been sent by prince Elmer, here"
Venator replied while handing over the letter Elmer wrote for Lord Morris.
Arthur took one look at the cover before he realised that it must have been Elmer's handwriting.
"Follow me"
The bodyguard said, while putting his swords to rest, walking back towards the mansion's main door.
The hunter followed him quietly.
Once they stepped inside, Agnes was standing by the stairs, since she heard the door opening, she was worried but when she saw that familiar face she felt more at ease.
"Agnes, could you please call for Lord Morris, Prince Elmer sent a messenger"
The man said, while walking the hunter into the living room.
The maid rushed upstairs heading towards the Lord's study room.
"Sit down"
Arthur said, while still standing.
After a good moment of the two waiting in an awkward silence, Morris walked into the room.
"My Lord"
Arthur said greeting.
The hunter said nothing which made Arthur glare at him, as if he was asking him to properly greet Lord Morris who understood the signs that the hunter found hard to follow.
"It's alright, Arthur"
Morris said, before he sat down facing Venator.
"So how is Elmer doing?"
The Lord asked.
It was a simple question, usually people know the answer to that pretty quickly.
But the hunter went speechless. And the question got stuck in the back of his mind.
How is he doing? Was he really getting over it or was it an act? As much as he was bad at expressing his own feeling, Venator found it harder to understand other people's feeling.
In the middle of his struggle, he decided to be honest.
"He is unharmed physically"
The hunter finally replied.
Lord Morris did not have to ask anymore, since he already knew how hard life must have been on the first prince .
Ever since he left the palace. No. Maybe long before that.
"He wants you to send this letter, to prince Louis"
Venator said, while handing the letter over.
Arthur stepped forward, grabbing it before handing it to Lord Morris.
"He has a letter for you too"
Venator said while standing up, looking back at Arthur, who handed Morris the first letter as well.
"I have to go now"
The hunter said, while walking out.
"If I read it now and send a proper reply, would you wait?"
The Lord smiled gently while asking.
Venator said nothing but quietly went back to sit down.
While Morris started reading the letter.
"Could you please bring me my writing supplies?"
He suddenly asked of Arthur.
The bodyguard was hesitant. He would never leave while a stranger was there.
