For the Festival

It was a normal night, she looked up at the sky.

"It is already night, isn't it?" Kurumi said, holding plenty of cards in her hands.

"Yeah, why aren't they still back?" Sawa said while placing a card on the table.

There were also Kaguya and Yuzuru there. Yuzuru slapped a Wild Draw Four (+4) Card on the table.

Yuzuru: "Kaguya. Pick up 4 cards."

The person next to her was her sister Kaguya, her angry face almost totally hidden behind an array of cards.

Kaguya: "Ah! Damn it, how do you people win so much and why am I getting stuck with so much cards?!"

Sawa: "*Shrugs her shoulder* Not sure, maybe because you were too proud of yourself let loose at the beginning?"

Kurumi: "*Giggles* Beginning? Kaguya was lazing off the entire game."

Kaguya: "Hey! Stop it. I would've won, my luck just backfired."

Sawa: "Okay. Kindly take the 4 cards already. At this rate, this won't last for much long."

With a grunt, Kaguya took 4 more cards and placed them with her array of cards.

They continued playing in the guestroom, sitting across the sofas with cards in hands.

Soon after, Nia and Artemisia came into the room.

Nia: "Wassup *Waves hand* How is your game going?"

Kurumi: "It's fine, how about you?*Kurumi said while looking at her cards.*"

Nia: "I am fine of course."

Artemisia: "uh,Kaguya san seems to be having lots of cards on her."

Sawa: "She is going to lose anyway. By the way, have they returned home yet?"

Nia: "Y/n and the others? Not yet. But I guess-"

Ding Dong

Artemisia: "There it is, it must be them."

Nia: "Okay, let's go."

"I win" Kurumi got up after dealing her last cards. "Let's go then" Kurumi said while following behind them.

After a bit of walking, they reached the main doors of the mansion. As Kurumi opened the part of said Door, a figure collapsed into her chest.

Kurumi: "Hmm? Are you okay, Mayuri?

She got Mayuri off her chest and tried to help her stand still. But Mayuri herself seemed in no condition for such action.
