Chapter 4

(Shawn's POV)
I got on Twitter and saw that everyone was tweeting me a video.

I watched it and I was amazed. This girl was so good. I called up my manager and sent him the link of the video. He loved it and told me get in touch with her. I emailed her and gave her a number to call ASAP.

(Kylie's POV)
So far, not much has happened. I've been posting videos and all that, but it's been the usual. It was another slow day, so I was going to film next weeks video. During the middle of it, my email went off. It was from Shawn.. Oh my god. My heart was beating so fast. I called the number it told me to call and waited 3 rings.

"Hello?" Said a voice.

"Hi I'm Kylie Reed." I said.

"Oh hey nice to talk to you." Then I realized it was Shawn. 

"I watched your video it was amazing. Then showed my manager and he loved it as well. So he wants to sign you." Shawn said.

"Seriously? I would love too!" I said excitedly.

"Great. We can meet up with you and your parents and work everything out." He said.

"Ok sounds good." I said.

"Bye."

"Bye"

I put my phone down, and ran downstairs. "Mom!" I yelled. "Yes?" She said. "Ok so I got a call and email from Shawn Mendes and he said his manager wants to sign me and we can meet up to work out the details!" I yelled. My mom hugged me. "Ok so this is really serious huh?" She asked. "Yes." I said. "Ok so we will meet up. I'm really happy for you. But we still have to talk about this." My mom said patting my back.

(A few days later)
Today was the day. I'm getting signed. I woke up at 6:30 and got ready. I straightened my hair and did my makeup, but I have no clue what to wear. I went through my mall bag. I threw together a cute outfit and grabbed my phone. My mom was ready downstairs waiting on me with her coffee. I texted Shawn and told him that we were on the way.

(Shawn's POV)

Kylie texted me and said they were coming, so we waited for a little bit. Then we saw them walking toward us. Kylie looks beautiful. "Hi I'm Kylie's mom, Sherry, nice to meet you." Her mom said shaking our hands. "And I'm Kylie." Kylie smiled doing the same. I smiled at her and she smiled back. "Ok so here's the contract." My manager said laying the contract in front of them. Kylie snatched it from her mom, and flipped a bunch of pages and signed it. I laughed. "Kylie we have to read it." Sherry said. Kylie shrugged her shoulders and laughed.
(30 minutes later)
"Ok your officially signed!" I said. We all clapped for Kylie. "Ok so since Shawn is going on tour, you will be opening up for him." My manager said. "Ok when do I start?" Kylie asked. "Next week." He said. We all got up and went to walk out. "Hey Kylie wait up." I said. She turned around and came towards me. "Hey Shawn what's up?" She asked. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out to lunch, while they discuss some more business." I asked her. "Sure I'd love to." Kylie blushed.

Kylie's (POV)
"Mom I'm going to lunch with Shawn." I told her. "Ok." She said. Shawn and I walked to the nearest pizza parlor. We both tweeted who we were with and took a selfie while we were waiting on our pizza. Shawn and I had a really good time. We really got to know each other better. After pizza, I had to go home but I promised to text him later.

When I got home I had to make a video.

Hey guys it's Kylie. Today I'm making a new kind of video. So a few days ago, Shawn Mendes emailed and called me and told me that his manager wanted to sign me. So we met up and discussed everything so now I'm signed! After that me and Shawn got pizza if you didn't see our tweets. Haha. So starting next week, I will be touring with Shawn and opening up for him. So I don't think I'll be making videos that much. Stay updated with my Twitter to know what's going on. Ok I love you guys bye.

I uploaded the video and went to sleep. It's been a long day.
