5:43am
Waking up early is not my thing, whatsoever. But today woke me up without an alarm clock, because (1) I have been freaking out about school since last year practically, and (2) I am getting a neck cramp. I slowly lift my head up and sit cross-cross applesauce on my mattress. "Moving in" is currently a very slow process, seeing that we just put mattresses down and we flew in yesterday afternoon. Our moving truck is supposed to come by tomorrow because of delays, but I packed a spare bag incase of emergency, so i have clothes for today, luckily. Before anything else though I MUST check my phone for any missed calls or messages from Piper.
Piper is my best friend from back in Washington, D.C. She is a spunky, smart girl with dirty blonde hair, an amazing attitude, and I can guarantee you she will always have a smile. I practically consider her part of the family because back when we lived in the White House, she came over all the time to keep me occupied and help around the house. Even the security guards got to know her! I reach for my phone and quickly check my messages to see if she has texted. There I see a "good morning valoceraptor" text bubble. I smile to myself.... Valoceraptor is her nickname for me and to be honest I don't mind it much. I quickly type back, "good morning pipe! Didn't know you were capable of waking up this early...". Ok, time to mentally prepare myself for the first day of school. Ha! I laugh in my head; like that's possible.
