We walked into the tattoo parlor and as Scott got settled in Stiles and I looked around seeing different kinds of tattoos.

"Hey Scott how about this one?" Stiles asked holding a folder that has a big lizard looking figure on it referring to the Kanima and Scott and I both glare at him.

"Too soon?" He asked putting it down.

"I still don't get why your getting two bands for a tattoo." I said.

I don't know it's just something I drew with my fingers."

I was wondering around the parlor looking at all the different things you could get painted on your body.

I spotted a small tattoo, it was a heart with bold edges like the one my mom use to draw when she wrote notes in my lunch box for school.

"Stiles look here." I said as he came over to where I was standing.

"Do you recognize that?" I asked him. His eyes widen when he looked at what I was pointing at.

"That's... thats.." "like the heart mom use to draw." I said.

"I want this tattoo when Scott's done." I said so everyone could here me.

"No.. no..no your not getting a tattoo." Stiles said.

"Why not? I always wanted one and this one being my first has a lot of meaning to it." I said.

"She's right." the tattoo artist guy said."Tatooing goes back thousands of years. The Tahitian word Tatau means leave a mark, like right a passage." he explained.

"He gets it." I said to Stiles.

"He's covered in tattoos, literally."
Stiles said as Scott flinches as the needle went into his skin.

"Not good with needles?" I asked.
Scott just nodded no to me.

"I tend to get a little squeamish." Stiles said looking at Scott as he fainted.

I got ice and sat him up against the wall as Scott's tattoo was wrapped up nothing his arm is red.

I sat down on the chair and pointed where I wanted my little heart at my ankle. Honestly it really hurt at first but by the time it was finished it didn't really hurt. The heart was on my left ankle and was the size of a half dollar coin.

I got in the car where I saw the two boys waiting for me. Scott's bandage was gone and so was his tattoo.

Dude what happened?" I asked.

"My body healed the tattoo." he said with anger in his voice.

"Well I think mine won't heal." I said showing it off.

"I can't believe you got one." Stiles said as he started the car.

"If you want we could go back and get matching tattoos." I said making Scott laugh and Stiles just rolled his eyes.

I zoned out when Scott starts talking about Allison, they broke up and they went the whole summer without talking. I went the whole summer without talking to Scott, Lydia and Allison and I'm not complaining.

We then stopped at a red light and the only other car in the street was Lydia's car with Allison in the passenger seat.

"Jeez boys look at the cars next to us." I said and both of their faces went blank. Stiles attempts to open Scott's window but when he does the light turns green and Lydia drive away making me laugh.

Stiles was driving behind them and Scott being a big baby made him stop driving so it didn't look like we were following them but for some reason they stopped.

I then saw a deer run straight into Lydia's windshield making the three of us run out of the jeep to the girls.

"Are you okay?" Scott asked Allison and Stiles was trying to comfort Lydia. "I'm fine." Allison said trying to act calm.

"I'm not fine!" Lydia yelled catching everyone's attention. I walked to the front of the car and saw the deer's head in the center of the windshield.

"What the hell?" I said thinking out loud.

"I saw its eyes before crashing," Lydia said, "it looked scared."

Scott placed his hand on the deers body and he gasped. "It was terrified." he said looking down the road it came running down.

Then it hit me like a brick, the alpha pack. Isaac told me they were in Beacon Hills but I thought they were just running through town, I didn't think they were staying.

Maybe that's why Isaac hasn't called me, he could be hurt or even dead. "No don't think like that Jackie!" I told myself.

I walked back to the jeep as the other four stayed outside when the police and tow truck came. I wanted to tell Scott and the others about the alpha pack but maybe it had nothing to do with the deer, it could've been just an idiotic creature or something like that.

The rest of the night I just tried thinking other reasons the deer was terrified and why Isaac hasn't called me.

"Jax," I heard Stiles say quietly at my door. "You okay? You've been really quiet since the deer incident." he asked.
"I'm just lost in thought." I said.

"Get some sleep for school tomorrow." Stiles said.

"SCHOOL?I thought school started next week!" I asked jumping from my bed.

"Ya, well I guess your going to be low on supplies." Stiles chuckled as he exited the room. Great now I have school to worry about.
