..::Few Days Later::..

Laylas Pov

I stared at my calendar wishing that it would disappear but it only stayed on the wall in the kitchen.i suffered as i reminded my self of what to day was.

Roc: Layla are you ready to pick up ray from the hospital

Me:*sigh* no not really

Roc: (lays hand on shoulder) Layla its going to be okay

Me: what do you mean the last time we saw him he couldn't even remember my name

Just remembering that day made me want to break down and die inside.My heart shattered of the thought of what could happen. i sat on the couch and put my shoes on while watch the news as i watched TV i smelt something burning in the kitchen on Oh shit..

Me:SHIT MY EGGS!

i leaped over the couch and rolled in to the kitchen to see that my eggs on fire.I then flung open the cabinet and yanked out the fire extinguisher spraying the hole kitchen down till it was cloudy.I gave my self a huff when i remembered that Roc was here. when i turned around i saw Roc give me "really?" face and all i did was give him a fake smile.

Me: um... well at least i don't have to make breakfast anymore right?

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

we heard someone knock at the door so we both race to the door when Roc beat me to the door and flung it open.The face he made was priceless.  

Roc:J-Jade? what are you doing hear?

Jade:oh I'm her to see Layla am i at the wrong house?

Roc: No no shes right hear

Me:Hi  I didn't expect you to come so early

Jade:sorry are you guys busy?

Me: Yeah ... but all we we are doing is picking my friend up from the hospital so you can come for the ride if you want to?

Jade:sure

Roc started up the car and let jade sit in the front.I cant drive because of what happen a week ago while i was trying to get back into driving.

..::flash back::..

Ernesto:are you sure your safe to go around driving

Me:yes I'm sure

 just then we pulled out of my drive way and drove out the neighborhood.my arms and legs were shaking almost like they were trying to warn me but from what?

Ernesto: Layla i don't think its safe for you to drive out in the open

Me:Hey don't worry about I'm fine

when we were about to stop for the light my vision went black and i started to have flashbacks of the car crash.its replayed in my mind like it was i move that would never stop. i was wishing that it would stop playing when i heard my name be called

 Ernesto:LAYLA!

just then i whipped the car around and landed on the other side of the road when i realized that i never stopped the car when we were at the red light.i couldn't stop think about the flashbacks and was wondering if was blaming my self for this.My eyes started tearing up and spilled wet liquid out my eye.

Ernesto:Hey its okay its not your faul-

Me: yes it is! Ernesto you don't understand how much i care for him hes like my world to me i-if i lose him i-i-i

just then He leaned in pressed is lips into mine creating a warm sensation go threw my body.they were so soft i couldn't help it but kiss back.when he pulled back i took a deep breath and looked into his eyes.

Ernesto:its okay,he will be okay , all you need to know that he loves you , you love your self , and i love you...

he then let me cry into his shoulder as he kissed my neck up and down telling me  that every thing is going to be okay.

..::end of flashback::..

when we arrived at the hospital my body paralyzed it self on how Ray would react.Just then ray walked out of the hospital and walked to the car and sat next nest to me and smiled happily. just when were about to drive off a doctor ran  to are car begged us to stopped.

Dr: Layla may i speak to you alone

the doctor walked me to the for part of paring lot and talked to me there.

Dr:Layla i got some good new its possible that you and Aryonna can help him trace back his memories

Me:how

Dr:When we woke up one morning the only names he could remember was those two so if he can remember those names he can remember  other things quicker

Hell ya ! that made my heart warm up that he could at least remember two names.after me and the doctors little talk i jumped back into the car and we drove. i was hoping the doctor was right.could we really get his memories?
