chapter 14

..::Layla POV::..

Its been two weeks since I've been out the hospital. They said that Ray was going to be okay, but they said he might not remember what happen these past few weeks. Me, Roc, Aryonna,and Diggy went to go see him to day. When we walked in we saw this tramp of a nurse helping him out.When we walked in she smiled at him and and did some type of slutty walk out of the room. Diggy rolled his eyes as Roc drooled all over the floor.

Me:Hey Ray

Ray:Hey...Layla *smiles*

I wanted to cry.he looked so miserable here.He looked like he hadn't slept in days and that smile looked so weak. He was breathing so heavy it was like he was having trouble breathing him self.

Later that day me and ray was talking up a storm until the doctor pulled me a side.

Dr:Layla I need to talk to you ... about Rayan

Me:Um okay? talk away.

The way the doctor looked at me worried me because the look he made was one of those "bad news"looks.

Dr:Layla its Possible that Rayan might lose all his memories ... lose it to where he might not even remember his own family.

My whole body froze in mid air. It felt like my whole life shattered and my heart stopped and turned stone cold.tears started forming in my eyes thinking about how one day Ray might not even remember my name. Now i wish that car accident didn't happen.

..::Next day::..

Ray's POV

When I woke up i was in a room  with pain in the right side of my back.I hissed in pain as i tried to to sit up seeing unfamiliar faces.

???:ray are you alright? 

Me:sure? *confused look* 

???:why do you look so confused?

Me:i don't kno-GCO

???:Ray are you alright?

I looked to my side to see a beautiful girl staring at me like was her everything to her life.

Me:i would... if i knew what was going on.

???:what do you mean?

Me:well if i knew who you were and where I was then i would be fine

the girl then widened her eyes and lifted her self up from her chair as she looked like she was on the verge of tears.

???:Th-that's alright I'm not important anyways

after she said what she said she turned around and sped walked out the room as her friend followed her out the room leaving me in the room alone.I just wish some one would tell me what was going on...

Layla POV

i feel foolish for pretend that everything was going to be okay and everything was going to go back to normal.after i ran out the hospital i ran to a near by park and sat on a bench putting by face in my hand.I then felt someone sit next so me and rub my back.

???:are you okay?my names Ernesto Powe by the way

Me: I'm okay my names Layla

Ernesto:so what are you crying for then?

Me: nothing really it's just ...my friend and me got in a car accident and now he can't even remember my name

Tears started to form in my eye's as i hunched over watching my self splash tears on the ground. I suddenly felt Ernesto rap his arms around me a squeezed me in his chest  as wind force its self on my neck.

Ernesto:its going to be okay,Its going to be okay...

..::Few days later::.

Me and Ernesto became close friends and started to hang out a lot at fast food restaurant (but he doesn't order anything though so...) but he made me realize that since I've been in L.A i have never have applied for a job so,me and him decided to go "job hunting" .We first arrived at a little cafe were they were hire waitresses.

Me: Do you think this is a good idea?like really I've barely looked at the application and i know i can't even fill out half of whats on there

Ernesto:Um first off you haven't even read it and second of all you cant say " I can't" with out tryin'

Me:okay well i'll grab one and i'll head home okay?

Ernesto:okay but don't forget to grab a application at the restaurant down town 

Me:alright

Me and Ernesto then walked are different ways as I headed to the restaurant I was suppose to go to. As I walked to my location I heard a familiar humming around the corner when I saw know other then my old friend Alex. He was kissing up all over some girl as a another girl ran out fumed while Alex screamed out her to come back.To tell you the truth I've never seen a girl so upset in my life over a break up so i was guessing that there relationship was serious to her.Being the person I am I decides to grab her by her arm and ask what was going on(like i didn't know).

Me:hey girl what happened?

???:what happened!?!My dick of a Ex-boyfriend was cheating on me ,man I-i thought we where a thing but all i was to him was a jackass he could pickup on the street and fuck all night long

Me:Girl you don't need him all he was trying to do was drag you down and play you like fool and if you keep acting like this the only thing you've done is shown him that he won the game

???:you know girl you're right i don't need him all show him...but how?

Me:well lets start you off with a "new" guy and show him that he was nothing but the dirt on the ground from the very start ill set you up... by the way whats your name?

when i saw her turn around she did a half smile.she had very nice curly short hair and tan skin.she looked as if she was 5'3 or 4 and had nice light brown eyes.for a girl she was very pretty. When she said her named my brain felt as if the names familiar.

???:oh yeah my name is .....Jade
